Whether you want to visit one, two or several places in Malaysia, anything is possible. You could even combine your stay in Malaysia with a visit to another country, or focus the itinerary on a specific interest.

If you’re heading to Malaysia then Kuala Lumpur is the perfect place to start – a perfect blend of modern sky-scrapers and bustling street markets. The dramatic Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower set it apart from all other cities, whilst glamorous shopping centres contrast starkly with numerous colonial buildings, palaces, mosques and temples.

If you’d like to do a little exploring then we can arrange for you to be transferred north from Kuala Lumpur to the Cameron Highlands. This is a wonderful unspoilt region of sweeping mountains, lush forests and awesome waterfalls. Visit remote villages and large tea plantations, as well as hiking impressive trails.

Borneo is definitely somewhere you should consider as it’s one of Malaysia’s most popular destinations. The highlight of any trip to Borneo has to be visiting the orang-utans sanctuaries, however with a wealth of activities on offer, dense jungle to explore and various stunning beaches on offer, your days can be as active or as relaxed as you want them to be.

If when you get to the beach you just want to relax and enjoy the stunning setting, then Langkawi should be at the top of your list. This is a very peaceful and relaxed island and is one of Malaysia’s most beautiful beach destinations. The island boasts long stretches of powder white soft sands, the clearest of waters and lush forests lining the beach.

If however Langkawi is too quiet and you like to venture out in the evenings to nearby bars and restaurants, then Penang maybe more suitable. Still offering great beaches but a livelier nightlife, Penang offers fun and relaxation. It also boasts the world heritage site of Georgetown and plenty in the way of tourist attractions and activities.

There are also a number of remote and secluded beach hideaways you can consider, resorts like Pangkor Laut and Redang. Whilst the East Coast of Malaysia offers a number of undeveloped resorts, maybe not offering the facilities of the more popular resorts but offering a more unique experience.

Flying home from Malaysia, you can consider flying on to another country in the Far East or even possibly a country further afield. Alternatively you could break up your journey home with a stop-over in one of the Far Eastern cities, somewhere like Singapore makes a great choice.
