A bit more from Michelle..

Why have you chosen to work in the travel industry?

I have spent the last 17 years in the travel industry, I love everything about travel and I love to venture out off the beaten track to explore hidden treasures. I went backpacking around Australia, New Zealand and Thailand when I was in my early 20’s, I had the time of my life and this is when I knew I would want to spend the rest of my life working in the travel industry. There is always something new to learn and the best way to find out is to go and explore this amazing world!

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

Go on holiday of course with my Husband Ben and step daughter Eva, keeping fit (running mainly, 4 Marathons under my belt to date), cycling and open water swimming. I love eating out and cooking new dishes – I love food!

What are your essential items that you take with you on holiday?

A map so I can plan all the things I want to see and my camera to capture all the special moments.

If you were stranded on a desert island which celebrity would you choose to be with and why?

Bear Grylls so he can help me stay alive!
