Opened in March 2005, the Athena Royal is the sister hotel to the Athena Beach and is situated next door, slightly closer to the town centre. An adult only hotel, it has some excellent facilities including a first class Spa and Health Club. The bedrooms are smartly furnished and have all the mod-cons you would expect from a new hotel. The atmosphere here is of a modern, functional hotel where guests can relax on the beach, by the pool and indulge in the Spa. This is a great choice for couples and small groups.

Description
Location: Athena Royal Beach, is situated on the sandy beach of Kato Paphos offering the added bonus of easy access to places of historic and cultural interest as well as entertainment spots. It is situated just 1.5 km from the tourist centre, 2 km from Paphos fishing harbour, 4 km from the town centre, 15 km from Paphos International Airport and 160 km from Larnaca International Airport.
Facilities: The hotel has an extensive list of facilities. You can choose to take a refreshing dip in any of its 3 freeform swimming pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor). For some pampering you can head to the hotel’s impressive spa, where they provide a range of treatments and therapies, there are 2 saunas (male and female), a Roman steam bath and a Jacuzzi. For the more active guests there’s a range of activities on offer, there are floodlit tennis courts, a green bowls court with 14 rinks, mini golf, shuffleboard, table tennis, volleyball, Boccia, and a fully equipped fitness room offering a range of classes.
Restaurants & Bars: When it comes to dining there is a main restaurant (A la carte available), a light meals restaurant, cocktail bar, daily entertainment program for adults with live music and dancing, seasonal special events and themed nights.
Accommodation: In a 3-story building overlooking the sea, with twin or double-bedded rooms, interconnecting family rooms, superior rooms and one-bedroom suites. Most rooms have a sea view and all have central A/C and heating with room controls, bathroom, spacious balcony, telephone, satellite TV & radio, fridge, mini bar on request, daily replenishment for coffee and tea making facilities, hair dryer, safe, ironing facilities, bathrobes and slippers.

I’ve now lost count of the trips I’ve booked with Gavin at e-shores and how he always manages to know exactly what we like and gets a great price - always the same or less than I research myself. Our latest was Greek island hopping to Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini and the hotels Gavin booked were all outstanding and the typically small, boutique hotels with less crowds. We went out of season (1st - 13th Sept) and everything went smoothly from the airport transfers, the welcome we had at each hotel and the beauty of each island having its own magic. Looking forward to the next trip already booked through Gavin in November! Thank you everyone-shores - the Napiers!

Claire Smith offered invaluable support in arranging our travel by air to Portugal pluse trains around the country, offering a choice of three hotels in every stop. She expanded our initial thoughts of Lisbon and Porto to include fantastic destinations that we would not have thought of - Guimaraes, Aveiro and Sintra. And she suggested tours we might enjoy. She listened. She selected hotels on the basis of what we told her we would like, from the feel of them to their location and the facilities they had. She was on the end of the phone when I needed her and made me feel there would be help at the end of the phone in an emergency abroad. We're looking forward to our getaway, secure in the knowledge it has been tailor maide to our requirements.

Our travel consultant, whom we have worked with for a few trips now, was given a wide ranging, complex and extensive overseas tour itinerary to quote for my wife and I. Not only did she return the quote within a matter of days but it was an amazing price and the hotels of our choice were mainly booked. The administration backed up the agreed quote with all relevant documents and we paid the deposit. All was done with the utmost efficiency, accuracy and speed. Wiil be back!!
