NASCAR is one of the United States’ most unique sporting events, where daredevil drivers compete amongst one another in front of thousands of enthralled and excited fans.

Witnessing such a spectacle is both intriguing and entertaining to both seasoned petrol-heads and casual bystanders and The NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend is one of the perfect places to take in such an experience.

During the course of the event, which is taking place at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, three of the racing league’s most major events will crown a champion, including the Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Tricks Series.

In front of 65,000 eager spectators, world-class drivers will test their skills against each other in hope of taking home the spoils of victory.

This year’s event promises to be memorable affair with Miami’s own Juan Pablo Montoya taking on other top drivers including Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. on home soil.

The track at the Homestead-Miami Speedway adds to the show as it contains multiple lines of racing and a banked oval section.

NASCAR offers tourists a unique look at this part of American culture with the event sure to be packed to the rafters with eager fans of the motorsport.

As well as the actual racing, the weekend will also have a number of other types of entertainment, including live music, interactive displays, pre-race ceremonies, fireworks and a one of musical performance.

The event will be taking place from the 14th November over the weekend and is sure to quench your thirst for speed. Fast food, faster cars and a great atmosphere all those who head to the NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend in Miami.

Remember, Miami’s weather is likely to be in the 20s even in November so if you are visiting the city during this period be sure to pack sunscreen and a hat.
