✈️  UK to Abu Dhabi, UAE (5 nights):  You’ll start your adventure in the relaxed yet refined city of Abu Dhabi. Begin with a visit to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, an architectural masterpiece that showcases world-class art from artists such as Monet and Picasso. Take a stroll along the Corniche for views over the Gulf or unwind at one of the waterfront cafes. Then make your way to the jaw-dropping Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a stunning structure made of white marble and home to one of the world’s largest chandeliers. If you’re after a slice of history, step back in time at the Heritage Village, a recreation of traditional Emirati life. For a bird’s-eye view, head to the Observation Deck at 300 on the 74th floor of the Etihad Towers. And if you’re craving some thrills, Yas Island is home to Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World, where you’ll find thrilling rides and some familiar cartoon characters.

🚗  Abu Dhabi to Dubai, UAE (5 nights): Next, you’ll be driven to the fast-paced, glamorous city of Dubai.  Begin your adventure with a visit to the iconic Burj Khalifa. Take in jaw-dropping views from the 124th floor or splash out for access to the 148th floor for an even more spectacular perspective (with perks such as fast-track entry and a private lounge). Next, shop ‘til you drop at the Dubai Mall, also home to an Olympic sized ice rink and a huge aquarium. In the evenings, the Dubai Fountain show is a must-see on the man-made lake at the foot of the Burj Khalifa. For those with a need for speed, head to Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis The Palm, or if you prefer something with a bit more of an Arabian twist, head out on a Desert Safari complete with dune bashing on a 4X4 and camel rides. For a dose of tradition, hop on an abra to glide along Dubai Creek, soaking in the sights and sounds of the Gold and Spice Souks.

🚗  Dubai to Muscat, Oman (4 nights):  Finally, unwind in the tranquil beauty of Muscat, Oman’s capital. We recommend that you stay at one of Muscat’s gorgeous beachside resorts, where you can dip your toes in the Arabian Sea, relax with sweeping ocean views, and still have easy access to the city’s cultural and historic hotspots.  Some of the highlights include the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a truly breath-taking structure, and the opulent Royal Opera House which hosts regular performances.  While you can’t go inside Muscat’s Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts, their dramatic settings overlooking the harbour make them well worth a visit offering some great photo opportunities, especially at sunset. If you’d like to see the area from a different perspective, take a boat trip to explore the dramatic cliffs and hidden coves off the coast or join a dolphin watching cruise. And for a true taste of Muscat’s vibrant culture, wander through the bustling Mutrah Souq, where you can haggle for everything from spices to silver – and pick up a few souvenirs to take home.

🚗  Optional extension:  Jebel Akhdar (2 nights):  If you’ve got a couple of days to spare before you need to head home, you could escape the city and head to Jebel Akhdar, known as the ‘Green Mountain’ of Oman. Here you’ll find beautiful, terraced farms and plenty of opportunities for walking and taking in the incredible views.  One of the highlights of the area is its famous rose gardens, which are not only visually stunning but also produce roses used in Omani perfumes, cosmetics, and even food. The best time to visit is between March and May, when the gardens are in full bloom and the air is filled with their incredible scent.

✈️ Muscat to UK: Time to head back home after your fabulous Middle East adventure.
