Description
Location: Carlisle Bay rests upon one of the most ravishing beaches on Antigua. This privately-owned hotel and spa sits on the magnificent and unspoilt south coast, set against a backdrop of rolling hills and lush tropical rainforest. Carlisle Bay is much more peaceful than other resorts on the island however numerous bars, restaurants, nightclubs and a casino are only a short drive away. Carlisle Bay is 30 minutes from the airport and the capital of St Johns, and 20 minutes from English Harbour.
Facilities: Active guests can enjoy a large range of complimentary non-motorised water sports, swim within the protected bay, play tennis on one of the many courts, or take one of their guided tours. If you’re not feeling energetic, spend your days lying on the beach or by the pool, relax in the stylish library or enjoy your own private screening of a film in the cinema. Blue Spa provides luxurious treatment rooms, set in calm and inspiring settings, a fitness centre, a hair salon and various classes. For children 3-12 there is a complimentary supervised kids club and for babies and toddlers there is a crèche payable locally.
Bars and Restaurants: Carlisle Bay boasts 3 bars and two of Antigua’s most outstanding restaurants; Indigo, which is set on the beach offering barbecues, deliciously healthy grills and a range of seafood and salads; and East, serving exciting Asian dishes in stunning, contemporary surroundings.
Accommodation: There are 82 beautifully contemporary luxury suites, from junior to three bedrooms. The interiors are cool, calm and spacious, and all with bespoke furnishings, individually controlled air-conditioning, ceiling fans, private balcony or terrace with large day bed, and a breath-taking ocean view. 24 hour room service is also available.

So impressed with Eshores. Chris Eaves handles our arrangements and we have just booked our fifth holiday with him. Nothing is too much trouble and as we are two mature ladies his patience is much appreciated. We always feel confident in his advice and suggestions. Over the years he has arranged some complex itineraries for us including a three stop holiday with all flights, hotels and transfers organised - bliss. This time were off to Turkey and Chris has organised everything for us. Another worry free holiday sorted in 2026! Thanks Chris to you and everyone at Eshores.

Leanne was a delight to work with, proactively suggesting options, whilst remembering they had to be practical. What I appreciated most was how responsive and efficient Leanne was. Everything was handled promptly. Even though we haven’t taken the trip yet, I already feel confident that things will run smoothly thanks to the excellent groundwork that Leanne put in place.

I’ve now lost count of the trips I’ve booked with Gavin at e-shores and how he always manages to know exactly what we like and gets a great price - always the same or less than I research myself. Our latest was Greek island hopping to Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini and the hotels Gavin booked were all outstanding and the typically small, boutique hotels with less crowds. We went out of season (1st - 13th Sept) and everything went smoothly from the airport transfers, the welcome we had at each hotel and the beauty of each island having its own magic. Looking forward to the next trip already booked through Gavin in November! Thank you everyone-shores - the Napiers!

Claire Smith offered invaluable support in arranging our travel by air to Portugal pluse trains around the country, offering a choice of three hotels in every stop. She expanded our initial thoughts of Lisbon and Porto to include fantastic destinations that we would not have thought of - Guimaraes, Aveiro and Sintra. And she suggested tours we might enjoy. She listened. She selected hotels on the basis of what we told her we would like, from the feel of them to their location and the facilities they had. She was on the end of the phone when I needed her and made me feel there would be help at the end of the phone in an emergency abroad. We're looking forward to our getaway, secure in the knowledge it has been tailor maide to our requirements.
