Location: Castaway Island is part of The Mamanuca Islands, the most popular destination within Fiji, offering a true taste of paradise. This 174 acre island is covered with lush tropical vegetation, surrounded by white sandy beaches and encircled by vibrant coral reefs.

Facilities: If you’re looking for complete relaxation then this is the place, spend days basking in the sun on the pristine white sandy beaches, walk along the shore with the turquoise waters of the Pacific lapping up at your feet, cool off in the hotels impressive freshwater pool and then enjoy a cocktail whilst sitting back to enjoy the stunning sunsets. If action is more your thing, there’s a vast array of complimentary non-motorised water-sports, there is a range of motorised water-sports, the diving and snorkelling is amazing, there are tennis courts and the daily activities will keep even the most energetic of guests entertained. There’s also a kids club and a range of activities for teenagers ensuring no one is left out.

Restaurants & Bars: When it comes to dining the breakfast buffet includes Fiji’s tropical fruits and juices, cereals and a selection of hot dishes and accompaniments. The all-day casual dining menu features light snacks and meals throughout the day and in to the early evening. At night you dine alfresco under a canopy of Castaway stars, overlooking the clear waters of the Pacific. The a la carte menu features the freshest Fijian seafood, prime grade beef, poultry and local Fijian specialties complemented by a hand selected wine list. Additionally their gourmet wood fired pizzas at the Sundowner Bar are not to be missed. There’s also nightly entertainment which includes cultural shows, a weekly Fijian feast, a Saturday barbeque and a weekly cocktail party.

Accommodation: There are 66 spacious, traditionally thatched Fijian style bures (bungalows), with a choice of beach front, ocean view or island location. Each featuring a high vaulted “tapa” lined ceiling with overhead fans, local furnishings and most have separate sleeping and living quarters, with the emphasis being on privacy and comfort. All bures have a king size bed, most have additional single beds; they have large en-suite bathrooms, including separate shower, toilet and vanity area complete with a range of amenities which are listed below.
