This child-friendly safari is action packed with sights to delight all the family. For your first stopover, you will visit the magnificent Amboseli with the backdrop of the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro and its wide variety of animals including elephants, lions and cheetahs. Your next stop is Lake Naivasha where you can choose from horse riding or hiring a bike or take in a spot of bird watching around the lake, renowned for its hundreds of species of birds. Finally, you will complete your safari with a visit to the majestic Masai Mara, home to the ‘big five’ and, if you are here at the right time of year, the incredible sight of the annual migration of the wildebeest. Day 1 (Sat) Heathrow to Nairobi: You will take an overnight flight from Heathrow to Nairobi, Kenya.

Day 2 & 3 (Sunday and Monday) Amboseli (2 nights):
Day 2: On arrival in Nairobi, you will be taken to the airport Lounge where you can shower and freshen up before leaving for Amboseli (approx. 4 hours). You can also store any luggage here should you wish. After lunch in Amboseli you will be taken for an afternoon game drive. Your accommodation for the next two nights will be at the Ol Tukai Lodge, with its wonderful backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. All 80 chalet guest rooms feature stunning views of the wetlands or Mt Kilimanjaro. There is also a swimming pool, bordered by shady acacia trees for a spot of relaxation.
Day 3: You will enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 4 (Tues) Lake Naivasha: After breakfast at the Ol Tukai Lodge, you will be driven to Lake Naivasha for lunch (approx. 5 hours) where your overnight accommodation will be at the Lake Naivasha Country Club. You are free to spend the rest of the day as you wish, perhaps in the hotel’s spa or swimming pool.

Day 5 & 6 (Weds & Thurs) Masai Mara (2 Nights):
Day 5: To complete your safari adventure, you will be taken to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve (approx. 5 hours and 30 mins) where you will enjoy an afternoon game drive. Your accommodation for the next two nights will be at the Keekorok Lodge.
Day 6: For your final day, you may choose between an early morning game drive with breakfast at the lodge (included) or a hot air balloon flight over the Mara with a ‘bubbly’ breakfast afterwards (an optional extra). In the afternoon you will be taken on another game drive.

Day 7 (Fri) Heathrow or beach extension: You will return to Nairobi via road (approx. 6 hours) or (as an optional extra) fly via light aircraft (luggage limit 15kg) from the Mara to Nairobi (please ask us for details). In Nairobi you will either return home to the UK or continue with your onward journey.
