✈️ UK – Tirana (2 nights): After the arrival of your flight from the UK to Tirana, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for a 2-night stay. Albania’s vibrant capital is full of colour and character, with lively café culture and fascinating recent history. Explore Skanderbeg Square, the Blloku district and the insightful Bunk’Art museums. You may also wish to add an extra night here to allow time for a full-day excursion to beautiful Lake Ohrid.
🚗 Tirana – Berat (2 nights): Travel by coach to Berat (approx. 2 hours – private transfer available), known as the ‘City of a Thousand Windows’ and one of Albania’s UNESCO-listed highlights. During your 2-night stay, explore the hilltop Berat Castle, wander the atmospheric old quarters of Mangalem and Gorica, and enjoy the town’s relaxed riverside setting.
🚗 Berat – Gjirokastër (2 nights): Continue south by coach to Gjirokastër (approx. 2.5 hours – private transfer available) for a 2-night stay. Another UNESCO-listed gem, Gjirokastër is famed for its distinctive stone houses and dramatic hillside setting. Visit the imposing castle, explore the cobbled old bazaar and soak up the authentic character of one of Albania’s most historic towns.
🚗 Gjirokastër – Sarandë (4 nights): Journey onwards to the Albanian Riviera and Sarandë (approx. 1 hour – private transfer available), where you will stay for 4 nights. Overlooking the Ionian Sea towards Corfu, Sarandë is the perfect base to relax by the coast while still enjoying nearby highlights such as the ancient ruins of Butrint and the famous Blue Eye spring.
🚢 Sarandë – Corfu (4 nights): Take the ferry across the Ionian Sea to Corfu for the final 4 nights of your holiday. Choose a beach resort to unwind, enjoy optional boat trips, or explore more of the island’s beautiful coastline and charming villages. If preferred, you can reduce your time in Corfu and add extra nights within Albania.
✈️ Corfu – UK: On your final day, we will transfer you to Corfu Airport for your flight home to the UK.
