✈️ UK – Tirana (2 nights): After the arrival of your flight from the UK to Tirana, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel, where you will stay for the next 2 nights. Albania’s colourful capital is lively and full of character, with grand Italianate buildings, café-lined squares and fascinating Cold War history. Spend your time exploring Skanderbeg Square, the Bunk’Art museums and the vibrant Blloku district, now one of the city’s trendiest neighbourhoods.
🚗 Tirana – Shkodër (3 nights): On your final day in Tirana, travel by coach to Shkodër (approx. 2 hours – private transfer available), where you will stay for 3 nights. One of Albania’s oldest and most historic cities, Shkodër sits near the shores of Lake Shkodër and is known for its relaxed atmosphere and cultural heritage. Visit Rozafa Castle for sweeping views, stroll through the pedestrianised centre, or use Shkodër as a gateway to the dramatic Albanian Alps.
🚗 Shkodër – Podgorica (2 nights): Continue by coach across the border into Montenegro to Podgorica (approx. 1.5 hours – private transfer available), where you will stay for 2 nights. Montenegro’s capital offers a different pace, with a mix of Ottoman remnants and modern city life. While here, you may wish to explore the old town area of Stara Varoš, visit nearby wineries, or enjoy excursions into the surrounding countryside.
🚗 Podgorica – Kotor (3 nights): Travel onwards by coach to the beautiful coastal town of Kotor (approx. 2 hours – private transfer available) for a 3-night stay. Set within the dramatic Bay of Kotor, this UNESCO-listed town is one of Montenegro’s true highlights. Wander the maze of medieval streets, climb the city walls for spectacular bay views, or take boat trips around the fjord-like coastline. Nearby Perast and Budva also make excellent optional day trips.
✈️ Tivat – UK: On your final day, transfer to nearby Tivat Airport for your flight home to the UK.
