✈️ UK – Cape Town (3 nights): You’ll fly from the UK to Cape Town, where you’ll have 3 nights to explore. Vibrant, artsy and with a coastal setting, Cape Town is a cosmopolitan city brimming with artisan coffee spots, galleries, colourful neighbourhoods and a stunning bowl setting beneath Table Mountain. Whether you want a Lion’s Head sunset, cable car views, palm-studded beaches or a chance to mingle with the Cape Peninsula’s penguins, you’ll find endless options here. Snap pastel facades in the bohemian Bo-Kaap, eat your way through the Neighbourgoods or Oranjezicht City Farm Market, or take in some greenery at Kirstenbosch Gardens. The V&A Waterfront has an array of restaurants, boutiques and lively nightlife, plus it’s the departure point for ferries to Robben Island.
✈️ Cape Town – Johannesburg (1 night): You’ll next fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg, where you’ll spend one night before heading into the wild game reserves of Kruger. With a very different feel from Cape Town, Johannesburg is South Africa’s “Big Apple”. Fully revamped, the city is now a dynamic commercial hub, filled with creative energy, hip neighbourhoods, rooftop bars and vibrant street art. Visit the Apartheid Museum and Soweto township, explore the World Heritage-listed Cradle of Humankind, or simply soak up the city’s thriving café and art scene.
🚗 Johannesburg – Kruger (3 nights): Depending on your chosen Kruger lodge, you’ll reach this world-famous reserve by plane or private transfer. Covering over 7,000 square miles, Kruger is one of the oldest and largest game reserves in the world. It’s home to the Big Five – elephants, rhinos, leopards, lions and buffalo, along with 519 bird species and countless other wildlife.
Spend your days on thrilling game drives or guided walks, spotting animals in their natural habitat, and your evenings relaxing in your lodge surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.
✈️ Kruger – Zanzibar (7 nights): After your safari adventure, you’ll return to Johannesburg for your flight to Zanzibar, a tropical paradise off the coast of Tanzania. Famous for its white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and rich Arabian influence, Zanzibar offers the perfect end to your trip. Explore the winding alleys and historic architecture of Stone Town, relax on the beaches of Nungwi or Paje, and discover spice plantations, bustling markets and lively seafront cafés. Spot giant turtles on Changuu Island, walk through Jozani Forest’s canopy bridges, or simply unwind in one of the island’s luxurious beachfront resorts.
✈️ Zanzibar – UK: On your final day, we’ll meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your flight home to the UK.
