✈️ UK – Shanghai (3 nights): We’ll fly you from the UK to Shanghai, where you’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay. China’s largest city and a global powerhouse, Shanghai is a thrilling blend of old and new. Its futuristic skyline rises above the historic Bund, where grand colonial architecture lines the riverbank. Explore the peaceful Yu Garden and the classical Old Town before heading to the modern side of Pudong, where glass towers like the Oriental Pearl and Shanghai Tower dominate the view. Whether you’re shopping on Nanjing Road, dining in the French Concession, or taking an evening cruise on the Huangpu River, Shanghai offers an unforgettable mix of energy, style and culture.

✈️ Shanghai – Yichang / Yangtze River Cruise (4 nights): After your stay in Shanghai, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Yichang. Upon arrival, we’ll meet you and transfer you to your luxury river cruise ship for the next four nights.

As you sail through the legendary Three Gorges (Qutang, Wu and Xiling), you’ll witness dramatic limestone cliffs, mist-shrouded peaks and ancient riverside villages. Along the way, you’ll stop to explore cultural and historical landmarks that reveal the stories and spirit of life along Asia’s longest river.

🚄 Chongqing – Chengdu (2 nights): When your cruise concludes in Chongqing, you’ll disembark and board a high-speed bullet train to Chengdu, where you’ll spend two nights.
Chengdu, capital of the Sichuan province, is best known as the home of China’s treasured Giant Pandas. Visit the Chengdu Research Base to see these gentle creatures up close, then discover the city’s rich history at sites like the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, the former home of one of China’s greatest poets. Don’t miss the traditional teahouses, lively street markets and famous spicy Sichuan cuisine.

✈️ Chengdu – Xi’an (2 nights): After your stay in Chengdu, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Xi’an, where you’ll spend the next two nights. Once the capital for 13 dynasties, Xi’an was the eastern starting point of the Silk Road and remains one of China’s most historically significant cities. Its crowning glory is the Terracotta Army, thousands of life-sized warriors guarding the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. You can also explore the ancient city walls, the Drum and Bell Towers, and the atmospheric Muslim Quarter.

✈️ Xi’an – Beijing (3 nights): When your stay in Xi’an comes to an end, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Beijing, where you’ll spend your final three nights. Buzzing, busy and breath-taking, Beijing is packed with some of China’s most extraordinary landmarks. Walk the Great Wall, explore the Forbidden City, and stand in the vast expanse of Tiananmen Square. Wander through traditional hutongs, browse the markets for pearls and silk, and admire the serenity of the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace. Beijing’s mix of imperial grandeur and modern dynamism provides the perfect finale to your journey through China.

✈️ Beijing – UK: On your final day, we’ll transfer you back to the airport for your flight home to the UK.
