This 5 star property is an ideal family resort on Mauritius west coast. Sugar beach is enviably located in beautiful gardens next to the powder white sandy beach with incredible views of the Indian Ocean. Good for somebody that likes a luxurious hotel with the option to venture out into the local resort. The sugar beach is great for all the family with childrens and teens clubs also many activities for everyone to enjoy.

Description
Location: Set on a long beach in the resort of Wolmar, near the town of Flic en Flac. It’s around an hours’ drive from the airport.
Facilities: The Sugar Beach shares it facilities with sister hotel La Pirogue, which opens up many facilities for its guests. By day why not indulge in the organic spa or take a swim in one of the generous free form pools. For the more active take a dive course or go horse riding and mountain bike riding, as well as taking part in the many non-motorised water-sports on offer. Sugar Beach also provides nightly entertainment, a children’s club and teens’ clubs.
Restaurants & Bars: In evening sample some of the local cuisine in one of the four restaurants which include specialties such as seafood. Afterwards socialise with other guests in one of the bars or wander over to La Pirogue and use its restaurants and bars.
Accommodation: There are 258 air-conditioned rooms. The standard rooms sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children and have a flat screen satellite televisions, WIFI internet access, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, safe and balcony or terrace with garden or sea view. The Superior Villas and the Villa Suites are located on the ground floor and have a DVD player with separate shower and open on to a terrace with a day bed.

We were looking for a two island holiday at Rhodes and Kos. Emily provided us with a number of options and recommendations for flights and hotels which enabled us to make a final choice. She was extremely helpful in dealing with our requests and room preferences and the whole process was handled very efficiently.

So impressed with Eshores. Chris Eaves handles our arrangements and we have just booked our fifth holiday with him. Nothing is too much trouble and as we are two mature ladies his patience is much appreciated. We always feel confident in his advice and suggestions. Over the years he has arranged some complex itineraries for us including a three stop holiday with all flights, hotels and transfers organised - bliss. This time were off to Turkey and Chris has organised everything for us. Another worry free holiday sorted in 2026! Thanks Chris to you and everyone at Eshores.

Leanne was a delight to work with, proactively suggesting options, whilst remembering they had to be practical. What I appreciated most was how responsive and efficient Leanne was. Everything was handled promptly. Even though we haven’t taken the trip yet, I already feel confident that things will run smoothly thanks to the excellent groundwork that Leanne put in place.

I’ve now lost count of the trips I’ve booked with Gavin at e-shores and how he always manages to know exactly what we like and gets a great price - always the same or less than I research myself. Our latest was Greek island hopping to Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini and the hotels Gavin booked were all outstanding and the typically small, boutique hotels with less crowds. We went out of season (1st - 13th Sept) and everything went smoothly from the airport transfers, the welcome we had at each hotel and the beauty of each island having its own magic. Looking forward to the next trip already booked through Gavin in November! Thank you everyone-shores - the Napiers!
