If you have a golf lover in your party, they can choose between two fabulous golf courses in Sun City. Gary Player golf course was designed by the man himself and features 18 holes and a luxurious gym and spa. The Lost City golf course is popular with visitors and features the world famous 13th hole, which is surrounded by Nile crocodile infested waters!

For those looking for more exciting activities take a look at The Valley of the Waves – Sun City’s premier water park. The park is set out like a tropical island, complete with clear turquoise waters. The slides here reach a height of 98ft and are definitely one for the thrill seekers. There’s also a range of land and water based activities so your days can be as fun filled as you want them to be.

One of South Africa’s main drawing points are the game reserves and Sun City does not disappoint. Madikwe Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s largest and is only 90 minutes away from the main areas of Sun City. You can see the big 5 here (African lion, African leopard, African Elephant, Cape buffalo and Black/White Rhino) along with other amazing wildlife in their beautiful habitat – rolling rivers and woodlands securely surrounded by rugged mountains. This reserve is also malaria free so is perfect for family visits.
