Day 1 Heathrow to Nairobi: You will take an overnight flight from Heathrow to Nairobi, Kenya

Day 2 Tarangire: From Nairobi, you will fly to Kilimanjaro where you will have lunch and then driven to Tarangire, taking in a game drive on the way to your accommodation (approx. 3 hours). You will stay at the comfortable Tarangire Sopa Lodge, with its 75 circular spacious rooms with sheltered verandas and swimming pool.

Day 3 Ngorongoro: After breakfast, you will be whisked off for another game drive before returning for lunch at the lodge and to your next accommodation the Ngorongoro Farm House, situated close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 4 & 5 Serengeti (2 nights):
Day 4: After a hearty breakfast, you will be taken to the Serengeti National Park (approx. 4 hours) where you will have lunch at your lodge (The Serengeti Sopa Lodge) and enjoy an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti Sopa Lodge has 69 rooms and 4 suites with their own terraces. The lodge offers fabulous views over the wild plains of the Serengeti.
Day 5: You will be taken on an early morning game drive before breakfast or (for an optional extra) you may choose to take an early morning hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti with a ‘bubbly’ breakfast to follow. After lunch at the lodge, you will be taken on a late afternoon game drive.

Day 6 & 7 Ngorongoro (2 nights):
Day 6: After breakfast, you will take a short visit to Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important anthropological sites in the world, on the way to your next 2 nights’ accommodation at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. The Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is ideally situated near one of the entrances to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater and the views over the crater from the lodge are formidable. After some lunch at the lodge, you will be free to spend the afternoon as you wish.
Day 7: You will be taken to the bottom of the Crater for a half-day of game viewing, with the hope of seeing all the ‘Big Five’. If time permits, you may also visit a local Masai village before returning to your lodge for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Heathrow: In the morning, after some breakfast, you will return to Arusha (approx. 3 hours) where you will be taken to a local restaurant for lunch. You will then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi, from where you will either return back to Heathrow or continue with a beach extension. Alternatively, if you wish to go to Zanzibar for a beach extension, you may fly straight from Arusha. (Please ask us for details).
