✈️ UK – Johannesburg (1 night): You’ll fly from the UK to Johannesburg, where you’ll spend one night before continuing to Kruger’s famous game reserve. You can relax at your hotel after your flight, or head out to explore this vibrant city with its “Big Apple” energy, creative neighbourhoods, colourful street art and excellent dining scene.
✈️ Johannesburg – Kruger (3 nights): Depending on which lodge you choose, you’ll reach Kruger by short flight or scenic road transfer. The grasslands of this vast reserve are home to the Big Five (elephants, black and white rhinos, leopards, lions and buffalo), over 500 bird species and endless open horizons. Watch zebra and wildebeest grazing freely, spot elephants and their young up close, and experience the thrill of daily game drives. Accommodation ranges from luxurious lodges to more rustic, budget-friendly camps and we can help find the right one for you.
✈️ Kruger – Hermanus (3 nights): After your safari adventure, we’ll return you to Johannesburg for your flight to Cape Town, then transfer you to the sleepy seaside town of Hermanus. Alternatively, we can arrange car hire for added flexibility. With Voelklip Beach, Klipgat Cave and prime whale-watching viewpoints along the Cliff Path Walk, Hermanus is a wonderful place to unwind. Between July and November, you can often spot whales right from the shore. The town also offers boutique wineries, farmers markets, a big cat sanctuary, plus charming galleries, shops and restaurants, perfect for leisurely days by the coast.
🚗 Hermanus – Winelands (3 nights): Next, journey inland through spectacular mountain scenery to the Cape Winelands for three relaxing nights surrounded by rolling vineyards and historic towns. This region is known for its world-class wines, farm-to-table cuisine and peaceful charm. Explore elegant estates, sample local vintages and enjoy exceptional dining in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Paarl. The Franschhoek Wine Tram is a great way to tour multiple vineyards in one day, allowing you to simply sit back and savour the region’s finest.
🚗 Winelands – Cape Town (4 nights): Your final leg takes you to vibrant Cape Town for four unforgettable nights. With Table Mountain towering above and beaches stretching for miles, this is one of the world’s most spectacularly located cities. Spend your days exploring the V&A Waterfront’s boutiques and restaurants, taking a ferry to historic Robben Island, or meeting the penguins on Boulders Beach. Wander the colourful streets of Bo-Kaap, hike Lion’s Head for sunset, or simply relax with a cocktail along Camps Bay. With endless sunshine, incredible cuisine and a laid-back atmosphere, Cape Town is the perfect finale to your South African adventure.
✈️ Cape Town – UK: After your stay, we’ll transfer you back to Cape Town Airport for your return flight to the UK, bringing this unforgettable journey to a close.
