Itinerary
Thessaloniki (3 nights)
Alonnisos (4 nights)
Skopelos (3 nights)
Skiathos (4 nights)
UK – Thessaloniki (3 nights) – Flying in from your chosen UK airport, you’ll start your trip in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city, located in the north of the country. A 3-night stay in Thessaloniki is the perfect length of time to immerse yourself in all the city has to offer. Alternatively, if you’re more in to the beach then you can stay at one of Halkidiki’s stunning coastal resorts. If you chose to stay in the bustling city, during your stay, make sure you explore the city’s Old Town, which is steeped in history and boasts a diverse array of architecture, including Byzantine, Ottoman, and Neoclassical styles. Wander through the winding streets and discover hidden courtyards, traditional tavernas, and artisan shops. If you feel the need to escape the city, there are a number of beautiful beaches on Thessaloniki’s doorstep, including Peraia and Agia Triada. Thessaloniki also has a thriving nightlife, so if this is on your agenda you will find rooftop bars with stunning views of the city, plus plenty of nightclubs where you can get dance the night away!
⛴ Thessaloniki – Alonnisos (4 nights) – On your final day in Thessaloniki, we will arrange your transfer to take you to the port where you’ll catch a ferry across to the island of Alonnisos, which will be your home for the next 4 nights. As you disembark from the ferry, you’ll arrive into the charming port of Patitiri, with colourful houses and traditional tavernas that line the waterfront. The pace of life in Alonnisos is slow and unhurried, perfect for those seeking laid back days lounging on the beach, enjoying the island’s natural beauty and basking in the warm Mediterranean sun. The island has lush green hills, secluded coves, and crystal-clear waters. One of the main attractions is the National Marine Park of Northern Sporades, which is home to rare marine species and a variety of sea turtles. The park offers visitors the chance to explore the island’s underwater world through snorkelling or diving.
⛴ Alonnisos – Skopelos (3 nights) – On arrival on the island of Skopelos via ferry, you’ll be struck by the stunning coastline, lush green landscape and the charming, whitewashed houses that line the harbour. In more recent years, Skopelos has become famous for being one of the main locations in the first Mamma Mia film and it’s easy to see why it was Hollywood’s destination of choice. This relatively large island boasts dense pine forests in the interior with stunning beaches that are dotted along the coastline. The town of Skopelos is a picturesque maze of narrow streets and alleys, perfect for getting around on foot. You’ll find traditional tavernas serving up delicious local cuisine, and shops selling locally made crafts and souvenirs. One of the highlights of the island is the Church of Agios Ioannis Kastri, which is perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea. It’s a bit of a climb to reach it, but the views are most definitely worth it. Most of the restaurants and bars are found in Skopelos town, which has a great range of restaurants by the port promenade and also in the Old Town.
⛴ Skopelos – Skiathos (4 nights) – The final stop is Skiathos, where you’ll spend 4-nights exploring the island’s beaches, historic sites, and charming villages. The beaches here are some of the best in Greece, with Koukounaries Beach one of the most popular, with its fine, powdery white sand and turquoise waters. Lalaria Beach, accessible only by boat, is another must-visit, with its breath-taking white cliffs and clear blue water. Aside from its beaches, Skiathos also boasts some impressive historic sites and cultural attractions. The Bourtzi Fortress, located in the harbour of Skiathos town, was built in the 13th century to protect the island from pirates, and it offers stunning views of the town and the sea. The Evangelistria Monastery is another popular attraction, featuring beautiful architecture and an interesting history dating back to the 18th century. Skiathos town itself offers charming alleys, traditional Greek architecture and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars to enjoy, offering delicious Greek cuisine.
✈ Skiathos – UK – It’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful Sardonic islands and head back home to the UK. Who knows, on the flight back home, you may find yourself thinking about when you can return to Greece to explore even more of its stunning islands and vibrant culture!

We contacted eShores having visited the website to discuss a tailor made holiday to the Sporades islands. We spoke to one of the Travel Consultants, Kadie Ryan, who was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We received a quote shortly following our conversation and with Kadie's help were able to book our holiday with ease the next day. We are very happy with our experience booking this holiday.

Fantastic Holiday. Just returned from a great South African holiday, Cape Town 3 nights, Pilanesberg Safari 3 nights and a week in Zanzibar. Big thanks to Chris again, his knowledge helped organise and plan this vacation. This is the second long haul holiday he has booked for us. Each holiday has been faultless even though we have changed the itinerary to suit . The Safari he recommended on this trip, Ivory Tree in Pilanesberg was 5 STAR and made the holiday, another tick on the bucket list. Eshores customer service is second to none. I recommended this company to my daughter who is presently on a Canadian fly drive with them and is thoroughly enjoying it. Based on previous experience Chris has now helped us book Australia, Hong Kong & Dubai for next February, can’t wait. All their trips are good value for money, would not have any hesitation in recommending them.

Very happy with what we booked, ( we asked for a trip/experience to Egypt), and Rachel put something together and within the budget we asked for. Once we reviewed it, we tweaked it several times for what we wanted in parts and Rachel did the rest. Very personable and pleasant to deal with. I think we will be looking at other experience holidays through E Shore in the future rather than your standard package holiday.

Booked with eshores last year. Holiday was excellent and everything ran smoothly. We had one problem with one of the transfers in which we missed the plane and had to pay for the next flight but that was sorted and refunded when we returned home. Booked with them again for next year. Matt has been extremely helpful (and patient. We are a nightmare). Eshores are very competetive and I would not hesitate in recommending them and I hope to be using them for years to come.
