✈️ UK – Beijing (4 nights): First, we’ll fly you from the UK to Beijing, where we’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel for a 4-night stay. Buzzing, busy and breath-taking, Beijing is home to some of the world’s most incredible sights and is the second-largest city in China (after Shanghai). Its 3,000-year history is reflected in its abundance of remarkable landmarks, including the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. You can also explore the lively Pearl Market and Silk Alley, and visit many stunning temples, palaces and gardens. With so much heritage and culture packed into one city, Beijing offers a fascinating start to your journey through China.
✈️ Beijing – Xi’an (3 nights): After your stay in Beijing, we’ll transfer you back to the airport for your onward flight to Xi’an. We’ll meet you on arrival and take you to your next hotel, where you’ll stay for a further 3 nights. Xi’an, the ancient capital of 13 dynasties, is one of China’s most historic and culturally rich cities. Once the starting point of the famous Silk Road, its legacy lives on in its impressive city walls, ancient pagodas and bustling Muslim Quarter. The city’s greatest treasure, however, is the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army, thousands of life-sized soldiers, horses and chariots that guard the tomb of China’s first emperor.
✈️ Xi’an – Chongqing / Yangtze River Cruise (3 nights): Once you’ve checked out of your Xi’an hotel, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Chongqing. On arrival, we’ll meet you and take you to your luxury river cruise ship, where you’ll spend the next 3 nights cruising along the majestic Yangtze River.
🚢 Your Yangtze River Cruise will be a truly unforgettable experience, offering front-row views of some of China’s most stunning scenery. You’ll sail through the famous Three Gorges (Qutang, Wu and Xiling) as well as past ancient temples, rural villages and dramatic limestone cliffs that rise steeply from the water. It’s a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural discovery.
✈️ Yichang – Shanghai (4 nights): When your cruise arrives in Yichang, you’ll disembark and we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival, we’ll take you to your final hotel, where you’ll stay for 4 nights. Shanghai is China’s largest and most cosmopolitan city, a dazzling fusion of old and new. Its futuristic skyline, led by the towering Oriental Pearl TV Tower, contrasts beautifully with the elegant colonial architecture of The Bund and the peaceful pavilions of Yuyuan Garden. Wander along Nanjing Road for world-class shopping, enjoy fine dining by the Huangpu River or take in a traditional Chinese acrobatics show. This dynamic city is the perfect finale to your holiday.
✈️ Shanghai – UK: On your final day in China, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your return flight to the UK, bringing your unforgettable journey through China’s history, culture and landscapes to a close.
