✈️ UK – Cape Town (4 nights): You’ll fly from your chosen UK airport to Cape Town. Upon arrival, we’ll meet you and transfer you to your first hotel, where you’ll stay for 4 nights. Cape Town really does have it all, from stunning scenery, a stylish city and harbour, to the spectacular Table Mountain providing an unforgettable backdrop. The coastline is dotted with powder-white beaches, from lively Camps Bay to the windswept coves of the Cape Peninsula. Venture further afield to discover charming coastal villages, breath-taking bays, and a diverse range of wildlife, from the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach to thrilling shark-diving excursions. For food and wine lovers, Cape Town is paradise. The V&A Waterfront brims with designer shops, craft markets and top restaurants, while the city’s dining scene is bursting with global flavours and exceptional wines. Adventure-seekers are spoiled for choice, from paragliding and surfing to mountain hiking. For a touch of history, a boat trip to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was once imprisoned, is highly recommended.

🚗 Cape Town – Winelands (2 nights): On your last day in Cape Town, we’ll have a car ready for you to collect before you leave the city and head for the Winelands, just a 90-minute drive away. This region is home to the renowned vineyards of Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, set among gently sloping valleys and dramatic mountain scenery. Spend two nights surrounded by vines and views, exploring art galleries and boutique shops between leisurely wine tastings. The dining options here are exceptional, with world-class restaurants scattered across the estates. A ride on the Franschhoek Wine Tram is a fantastic way to tour multiple vineyards in one day and sample the region’s finest produce without needing to drive.

🚗 Winelands – Hermanus (2 nights): Next stop is the world’s whale-watching capital, the charming seaside town of Hermanus. With pristine beaches, cliffside trails and tranquil coves, Hermanus is perfect for relaxation. Between July and November, whales can often be spotted from the shore along the famous Cliff Path Walk. You’ll also find boutique wineries, farmers markets, a big cat sanctuary, art galleries and excellent local restaurants.

🚗 Hermanus – Mossel Bay (1 night): Your next destination marks the start of the legendary Garden Route. Mossel Bay is a pretty harbour town with wide sandy beaches, a quaint lighthouse and a laid-back coastal charm. Enjoy a seafood dinner overlooking the ocean before continuing your adventure.

🚗 Mossel Bay – Knysna / Plettenberg Bay (3 nights): Leaving Mossel Bay, you’ll follow one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives. Stop in George or Wilderness for local charm and don’t miss the chance to spot meerkats in the wild. You then have the option to base yourself in Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, or split your stay between the two. Knysna is famous for its peaceful lagoon and vibrant waterfront filled with shops, bars and restaurants, surrounded by forest trails ideal for walking or cycling. Nearby Plettenberg Bay offers a long stretch of golden sand, calm turquoise waters and an easy-going beach vibe. For something different, you can visit the wild cat sanctuary or, if you’re feeling adventurous, try the world’s highest bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge.

🚗 Knysna – Safari (2 nights): Next, you’ll drive to your chosen safari lodge for two unforgettable nights. The private reserves along the Garden Route are home to incredible wildlife, including the iconic Big Five and offer everything from boutique-style lodges to luxurious retreats. Morning and evening game drives with expert rangers provide the perfect opportunity to see Africa’s wildlife up close.

🚗 Safari – Port Elizabeth (1 night): After your safari, make your way to the beach town of Port Elizabeth for your final night. Known for its friendly atmosphere and relaxed beaches, it’s the perfect place to unwind before heading home.

✈️ Port Elizabeth – UK: On your final day, drive to the airport, drop off your hire car and catch your return flight to the UK, bringing your South African adventure to a close.
