✈️ UK – Chicago (3 nights): You’ll fly from your chosen UK airport to Chicago, Illinois, where we’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel for a three-night stay. Once you’ve checked in, it’s time to explore the fabulous “Windy City” in all its glory. Take a trip to the top of the Willis Tower for magnificent views across the skyline, or visit one of Chicago’s world-class museums such as the Field Museum or the Art Institute. Shopping fans will love the Magnificent Mile, while foodies can indulge in the city’s legendary deep-dish pizza and diverse restaurant scene.
🚆 Chicago – Train (1 night): On your final day in Chicago, you’ll board an overnight train to Memphis, Tennessee, departing around 8 pm and arriving at 6 am. (Alternatively, you can fly and enjoy an extra night in Memphis, or drive and stop somewhere en route.)
🚆Train – Memphis (2 nights): You’ll spend the next two nights in Memphis, exploring this soulful city and its musical heritage. Visit Graceland, Elvis Presley’s iconic former home, and Sun Studio where he recorded his first song. For something different, the Memphis Zoo is home to a wonderful range of animals, including giant pandas. In the evening, head to Beale Street, the heart of Memphis’ live music scene, where bars and clubs come alive with blues, soul, and rock ’n’ roll.
🚆 Memphis – New Orleans (4 nights): On your last morning in Memphis, you’ll take a daytime train south to your final destination, the colourful and charismatic city of New Orleans. You’ll spend four nights here soaking up the sights, sounds, and flavours of this vibrant city. Known as “The Big Easy,” New Orleans is famed for its relaxed vibe, French-inspired architecture, jazz music, and Creole cuisine. Wander through the historic French Quarter, admire the lively bars of Bourbon Street, and experience Jackson Square, alive with street performers, artists, and musicians. Grab a coffee and beignet at Café du Monde, or visit the National WWII Museum for something a little more reflective.
✈️ New Orleans – UK: On your final day in New Orleans, we’ll collect you from your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
