Itinerary

3 nights – Dalyan
5 nights – Gocek or Fethiye

✈️ 🚗 UK to Dalyan (3 nights):  You’ll be welcomed at Dalaman airport and taken on a short 40-minute transfer to the scenic town of Dalyan, just inland from Turkey’s southwest coast.  Dalyan is famous for its Mud Baths where you can apply the mineral-rich mud, bask in the sun, rinse off and then hop in the hot springs, all amidst the stunning scenery. Another must-do in the area is to take a boat trip along the Dalyan River to reach Iztuzu Beach, a protected nesting ground for Loggerhead Sea Turtles. The Loggerhead Sea Turtles are a crucial part of the region’s ecological diversity and known for their distinctive reddish-brown shells and strong, paddle-like flippers. The female Loggerheads return to the beach where they were born to lay their eggs, typically during the warm summer months, and Iztuzu beach’s protected status ensures that these nesting areas remain undisturbed, so that the eggs can incubate.

🚗 Dalyan to Gocek or Fethiye (5 nights):  The next part of your trip includes a seaside escape along the Turkish Riviera where you can choose between Gocek or Fethiye or another coastal destination of your choice. Fethiye is the larger of the two resorts, boasting a picturesque harbour and surrounded by lush mountains providing the perfect setting for a few days’ rest. Fethiye comes alive in the evening with its vibrant bazaars and lively markets where you can buy all sorts of local crafts, while the waterfront promenade invites you to take leisurely strolls and dine in the waterfront restaurants.  Gocek is Fethiye’s slightly more sophisticated and smaller neighbour, also situated on same stunning coastline.  Gocek is renowned for its upscale marina and is a popular destination for yachts and sailing enthusiasts.  The town itself has boutique shops and lovely restaurants and cafes, with surrounding bays and coves that offer secluded spots for sunbathing and swimming in its stunning clear turquoise-blue waters.

✈️ Dalaman to UK: You’ll return to Dalaman for your return flight home to the UK.
