✈️ UK – Asturias (3 nights): First you will fly from your chosen UK airport to Asturias Airport, where you’ll collect your hire car and drive to Luces or nearby Lastres. You’ll have 3 nights to explore Asturias’ beautiful coastline, traditional fishing villages and green countryside. Lastres is one of the region’s most attractive seaside towns, while nearby highlights include the beaches around Colunga, the Jurassic Museum and the dramatic scenery of the Picos de Europa.

🚗 Luces or Lastres – Oviedo (2 nights): Next, you’ll drive inland to Oviedo, with the option to stop in Villaviciosa, the heart of Asturias’ cider country, or spend time exploring the waterfront and old town of Gijón along the way. You’ll then have 2 nights in Oviedo, a compact and elegant city known for its medieval streets, historic churches, traditional cider houses and excellent restaurants.

🚗 Oviedo – A Coruña (2 nights): Continue west into Galicia, following one of the most scenic sections of Spain’s northern coast. Break up the journey in the colourful fishing town of Luarca, visit the historic centre of Ribadeo or make a detour to the impressive rock formations and sweeping sands of Playa de las Catedrales. On arrival in A Coruña, you’ll have 2 nights to explore its waterfront, lively tapas streets, beaches and ancient Tower of Hercules.

🚗 A Coruña – Santiago de Compostela (3 nights): After your stay in A Coruña, drive south towards Santiago de Compostela, perhaps stopping in the historic town of Betanzos, known for its medieval streets and famous Spanish omelette. You’ll spend the final 3 nights exploring Santiago’s beautiful old town, atmospheric squares and magnificent cathedral, as well as enjoying Galicia’s renowned seafood and local wines. This city is voted a European favourite by everyone in the office that has been.

✈️ Santiago de Compostela – UK: On your last day, you’ll drive to Santiago de Compostela Airport, return your hire car and fly back to the UK.
