✈️UK to Tokyo (4 Nights):  Tokyo, Japan’s bustling capital city is your starting point for this fascinating itinerary that takes you to some of the best destinations in East Asia. Tokyo is a city where the futuristic meets tradition, where iconic skyscrapers stand side by side with historic temples. Explore the more modern areas such as Shinjuku and Shibuya with its iconic pedestrian crossing – and also the city’s fascinating historic sites, most notably Asakusa’s Senso-Ji Temple.

🚆Tokyo to Kyoto (2 Nights):  From Tokyo, take a high-speed Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto, Japan’s cultural heart which offers a stark contrast to the bustling metropolis of Tokyo.  Kyoto is known for its beautiful temples, traditional tea houses, and the stunning Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Some unmissable iconic landmarks include Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion) and Fushimi Inari Shrine.

✈️Taipei, Taiwan (2 Nights):  Time to leave Japan and fly to your next destination: Taipei, Taiwan.  Begin your exploration by heading straight to Taipei’s bustling night markets, such as Shilin or Raohe, and try some of the local delights such as xiao long bao (soup dumplings) and beef noodles. Visit the magnificent Longshan Temple, and head to the top of the iconic Taipei 101 skyscraper, once the world’s tallest building. For more great views of the city, follow a walking trail to the top of Elephant Mountain (more a hill than a mountain).  Also, head to the National Palace Museum, which is home to a vast collection of Chinese art.

✈️Taipei to Hong Kong (2 Nights):  Returning to the airport, you’ll board a short flight from Taipei to Hong Kong, where you can fully immerse yourself in everything the city has to offer for the next two nights. This includes taking in the awe-inspiring skyline, exploring the hustle and bustle of the busy street markets, and delving into the city’s rich history. Begin your adventure by wandering through the lively streets of Kowloon and indulging in delectable dim sum at local teahouses.  For a magnificent view of the city, make your way to Victoria Peak, via the Peak Tram. At the summit, you’ll not only be able to enjoy the panoramic vistas but also the dining opportunities within Peak Tower, a shopping and entertainment complex. Inside, you’ll also find Sky100, an indoor observation deck providing a 360-degree perspective of the city and its harbour – perfect for misty or rainy days. Another essential stop in Hong Kong is the Tian Tan Buddha, affectionately referred to as the Big Buddha. This 112-foot-tall bronze statue stands tall at Ngong Ping and is a symbol of peace and serenity.

✈️Hong Kong to Singapore (3 Nights) Your final destination is Singapore, a fitting finale to your East Asian exploration and a modern and diverse city-state located at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. Experience the blend of cultures in Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam and discover landmarks such as Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and Sentosa Island. The food here is world-class, so make sure you take in the wonderful cuisine in the city’s restaurants – and don’t forget to sample a Singapore Sling cocktail at Raffles!

✈️Singapore to UK:  We’ll transport you to Singapore airport for your return flight home to the UK
