Itinerary

5 Nights – Lake Garda
5 Nights – Lake Como

✈ UK – Lake Garda (5 Nights): Taking a flight from the UK to Verona, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Lake Garda where you’ll spend the following 5 nights (different durations are available).

Lake Garda is Italy’s largest lake and is situated at the foot of the Alps between Brescia and Verona. There are 100 miles of stunning shoreline and delightful towns to explore, all set around the magical lake. One of the best ways to get around is on the ‘Hop on hop off’ ferries which offer a wonderful perspective of the lake’s natural beauty as you pass by olive groves, vineyards, and historic buildings. One of Lake Garda’s highlights is the town of Riva del Garda, with its stunning views and landmarks such as Torre Apponale and Palazzo Pretorio. Nearby you’ll find the Varone waterfalls and Lago di Tenno – perfect for swimming and outdoor activities such as rock climbing and mountain biking.

Other must-visits include the town of Malcesine with its Castello Scaligero and cable car to Monte Baldo, and Sirmione with its thermal baths and medieval castle. Wine lovers must pay a visit to Bardolino with its vineyards and wine tasting, while the town of Garda, named after the lake itself, offers medieval charm and the nearby promontory of Punta di San Vigilio – perfect for a quick aperitivo whilst immersing yourself in the tranquillity of the lake.

🚗 Lake Garda – Lake Como (5 Nights): When your stay in Lake Garda comes to an end, we’ll transfer you to your next hotel in Lake Como. Car Hire is also available if you’d prefer to drive yourself, offering you the flexibility to explore the region at your own pace.

Lake Como has long been a retreat for the rich and famous, with its glamorous mansions, fine dining restaurants, and beautiful cobblestone villages with pastel-coloured buildings. In Como itself, take the funicular Como-Brunate for some incredible views, visit the Gothic-Renaissance Como Cathedral, and wander round the charming Old Town. Bellagio, known as the Pearl of the Lake, has a wonderfully scenic waterfront promenade that is lined with cafes and restaurants, offering the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the lake. Head to Punta Spartivento, where the waters of the lake divide for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains, providing a magical backdrop. Also, visit Villa Melzi’s gardens with its vibrant flowers and lush greenery. Just a short ferry trip away on the eastern shores of the lake you’ll find the pretty town of Varenna, with narrow cobblestone streets and medieval churches. Head to Villa Monastero, and Castello di Vezio, a medieval fortress – or simply drink in the beauty along the lakeside promenade. The picturesque village of Lenno boasts the impressive Villa del Balbianello, as seen in Star Wars and the ‘Casino Royale’ James Bond film. Just outside Lenno make sure you visit the stunning Villa Carlotta Gardens, offering 20 acres of rare and exotic plants.

✈ Lake Como to UK: When your holiday comes to an end, we’ll transfer you to Milan airport for your flight back to the UK.
