✈️ UK – Cairo (3 nights): We’ll fly you from your chosen UK airport to Cairo, where you’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for a 3-night stay. Egypt’s capital is a fascinating city, vibrant, chaotic and filled with history. We can arrange for one of our private guides to accompany you around Cairo’s key attractions, ensuring you make the most of your visit. Highlights not to be missed include the iconic Pyramids of Giza, the magnificent Sphinx, and the world-renowned Egyptian Museum, home to the treasures of Tutankhamun. In between sightseeing, soak up Cairo’s unique atmosphere — explore its bustling bazaars, sample authentic Egyptian cuisine, and wander its lively streets where ancient and modern worlds collide.

🚗 Cairo – Alexandria (2 nights): On your final day in Cairo, you’ll either collect your hire car or we’ll arrange for a private driver to take you to Alexandria (approx. 2½ hours). Founded by Alexander the Great more than 2,000 years ago, this historic coastal city blends Mediterranean charm with Egyptian heritage. You’ll have 2 nights here to enjoy the city’s golden beaches, cafés and cultural treasures. Visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar and the Roman Amphitheatre to uncover Alexandria’s storied past. Don’t miss the city’s lively bazaars, perfect for picking up a few souvenirs and practising your haggling skills!

✈️ Alexandria – Luxor (7 nights – Nile Cruise): On your final morning in Alexandria, you’ll either return to Cairo airport by car or private transfer for your short flight to Luxor, the starting point for your Nile Cruise. You’ll then board your luxury cruise vessel for a 7-night journey along Egypt’s legendary river, exploring the country’s most spectacular ancient sites along the way.

🚢 Nile Cruise (Sample Itinerary – exact details may vary by ship):

Day 1–2: Luxor (East & West Bank): Start with the Luxor Museum, home to priceless artefacts from the Pharaonic period, including treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb. Continue to the Temples of Karnak and Luxor on the East Bank, two of the world’s most awe-inspiring ancient sites. The following morning, explore the West Bank’s archaeological wonders, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, sail through the Esna Lock to Edfu, where you’ll overnight.

Day 3–4: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan: In Edfu, visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus before continuing to Kom Ombo to see the fascinating dual Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Then sail onwards to Aswan, where you’ll overnight. The next day, discover Aswan’s landmarks, including the High Dam and the Temple of Philae, relocated to Agilkia Island. In the afternoon, relax on a traditional felucca sailboat and drift past the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island.

Day 5–7: Aswan – Edfu – Esna – Luxor: Spend a leisurely morning in Aswan, or opt for an excursion to the spectacular Abu Simbel temples (additional cost). Later, sail back north to Edfu and Esna, visiting the Temple of Khnum before crossing the lock and returning to Luxor for your final night on board.

🚗 Luxor – Beach Resort (5 nights): After breakfast, disembark your cruise and begin the final leg of your holiday, five nights of relaxation at your chosen Red Sea resort. If you’ve selected Hurghada or one of its nearby resorts, we’ll transfer you directly by road (approx. 4 hours). Alternatively, if you’re staying in Sharm El Sheikh, we’ll arrange a short internal flight. Whichever you choose, you can look forward to soft sands, turquoise waters and excellent snorkelling and diving opportunities among vibrant coral reefs. Enjoy lazy beach days, desert excursions and the warm hospitality Egypt’s coast is famous for.

✈️ Beach Resort – UK: On your final day, we’ll transfer you to Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh airport (depending on your chosen resort) for your flight home to the UK, rounding off your incredible journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders, timeless river and beautiful coast.
