✈️ UK – Havana (4 nights): Stepping off the plane in Havana, you will be greeted by a private transfer and will be taken you to your hotel for the next 4 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Once you’ve freshened up and stepped outside your hotel, you will find yourself instantly immersed in the vibrant culture that Cuba’s capital has to offer. The city exudes old-world charm, lively music, colourful architecture, and the unmistakable vibrant vintage cars that line the streets. Take a stroll around the historic centre of Old Havana, a UNESCO Heritage Site, and marvel at the narrow streets and pastel-coloured buildings or take in the stunning façade of the baroque cathedral in Plaza de la Catedral. Havana is famous for its nightlife, so after dark, seek out the bars that pulse with mambo rhythms, dancing and rum flowing late into the night for an experience you won’t forget!
🚗 Havana – Trinidad (3 nights): The next stop on your Cuban adventure is the charming town of Trinidad, in the southeast of Cuba. You will be met by a private transfer at your hotel in Havana and be escorted cross country, taking approximately 4 hours. En route, soak in the fascinating countryside lined with tobacco farms. On arrival in Trinidad, you will instantly feel the relaxed and laid-back vibe of this historic town. The town centres around Plaza Mayor, which is a picturesque square flanked by colonial buildings and an historic church. For nature lovers, visit Topes de Collantes, a nature reserve located in the nearby mountains featuring waterfalls and scenic views. If beach-time is on your agenda, take the short trip to Playa Ancon with its crystal-clear waters and coral reef. Your hotel is on a bed and breakfast basis, as one of the true pleasures of Trinidad is exploring the local haunts and sampling the local cuisine, known for its traditional Cuban flavours using fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and locally grown vegetables… washed down of course with the plenty of local rum or mocktails!
🚗 Trinidad – Varadero (7 nights): What better way to end a holiday than with a week of total relaxation on a pristine white sandy beach? Heading via private transfer to the north coast of the island, your final stop is an all-inclusive hotel where your every whim will be catered for. Simply relax on the miles of soft white sand or take part in the plethora of water sports and beach activities such as parasailing, snorkelling or kayaking. For a day trip, consider visiting Josone Park, located in the heart of Varadero with a beautiful lake and botanical garden, or head to Ambrosio Cave which is a fascinating archaeological site full of ancient paintings and engravings.
