For a journey from Bali’s rice paddies, beaches and age-old temples to Indonesia’s micro-islands, this 14-night itinerary scoops up the best of Balinese authenticity, rainforest greenery, plus a double dose of crystal-water beach life. You’ve also got the option to round it off in style with a stop in Singapore. To be honest though, we can switch this to a different city if you have a different preferred option.

Itinerary

3 Nights – Ubud
4 Nights – Gili Islands
7 Nights – Bali Beach
Optional – Singapore Extension

✈ UK – Ubud (3 Nights): You’ll fly from the UK to Bali, where a transfer to Ubud will mark the beginning of your 3 nights in this deeply cultural and staggeringly beautiful mountain city. 14 clustered villages form Ubud, where the region’s iconic old stone carvings decorate every temple pavilion, gate and the famed Goa Gajah Cave.

Cascading rice paddies and palms here shelter eye-opening cultural sites, like the Poet Mountain Temple’s cloisters and the atmospheric Campuhan Ridge Walk. Catch a live dance performance in the evening, browse markets for local arts and crafts, and drop by the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. With museums, galleries, fantastic restaurants, cafes and bars, everything from the bustling downtown to the bird parks is filled with wonders.

⛴ Ubud – Gili Islands (4 Nights): Just east of Lombok, the trio Gili Islands are characterised by their powder-sand beaches, crystal-blue waters, thatched shacks and world-famous coral reefs. You’ll have the choice of which you want to visit, although Gili T is the most popular. You’ll reach this part of your holiday via a transfer to the port, followed by a ferry.

Horse and cart is the only available transport in the Gili Islands, so prepare for things to be as scenic as they are relaxed. While some Gilis offer a fully-removed feel (Gili Meno is nicknamed “the honeymoon island”), Gili T has a bit more of a pulse. You’ll find all kinds of beach clubs and parties here, plenty of underwater life, plus the adorable nesting turtles that dot so many sands. Grab a beach swing cocktail in time for sunset, sample cheap eats at night markets, hit a reggae lounge and get your detox on at The Yoga Place. You’ll have 4 nights here- plenty of time to explore, dive or just lounge on the beach and top up the tan.

⛴ Gili Islands – Bali Beach (7 Nights): From turquoise seas to sweeping oceanfronts, you’ll now reach Bali’s beaches with a return ferry and transfer, where we’ll accompany you to your hotel. It’s up to you where you end up- North Bali’s Lovina region staggers mountain forests and waterfalls along quiet coasts. Over in the east, spiritual temples divide up more remote beaches, but you’ll always be staying in comfort or you have the more lively resorts of Sanur and Seminyak. The range of Balinese beach resorts is endless.

Whether you’re gazing out from Blue Lagoon Beach, hitting Echo Beach’s surf spots or upping the ante in Nusa Dua’s powder-fine stretches, you’ll have culture, spa opportunities, fantastic cuisine and a guaranteed 7 nights of total bliss.

✈ Return To UK: When your stay in Bali comes to an end, we’ll return you back to the airport for your flight back to the UK (unless you decide to take a diversion and stop in Singapore on the way home).

Optional Singapore City Stop-Over: So many of you request rounding this itinerary off with a short stop in the futuristic mega-city of Singapore (and we’re not surprised). Dazzling skylines, high-rise panoramas and world-class shopping and dining here make this option totally worth it.
