If you’re looking for sun, you’re in luck – Hawaii tends to be warm all year round. If you want to avoid the peak summer crowds but still enjoy pleasant weather for exploring and relaxing, April, May, September, and October are excellent months to visit. Winter (December to March) is also a popular time for whale watching, but can result in busier crowds and higher prices.
As Hawaii is such a long journey from the UK, most travellers allow 14 to 17 days for a holiday, often combining two or three islands or adding time in US cities. You can squeeze a taste of the islands into 10 days, but it’s difficult to do much less due to the travel time.
