If you’re looking for sun, you’re in luck – Hawaii tends to be warm all year round. Winter (December to March) is also a popular time for whale watching, but can result in busier crowds and higher prices.
As Hawaii is such a long journey from the UK, most travellers allow 14 to 17 days for a holiday, often combining two or three islands or adding time in US cities. You can squeeze a taste of the islands into 10 days, but it’s difficult to do much less due to the travel time.
