Description

Head to Malolotja Nature Reserve, which is one of the last remaining places where you can see the endangered black rhino in the wild. Explore the reserve on one of the tree top canopy tours, you can enjoy mountain bike and walking safaris, or take a more traditional game drive.

The Malolotja Falls are also located in the reserve, and this 89-metre waterfall is the largest in Swaziland so is a must-see attraction. If you’re up for the challenge, you can also ride the wild white rapids of the Great Usutu River.

There are also many other amazing reserves to explore. Hlane Royal National Park is Swaziland’s largest protected area and is home to elephants, lions, leopards and white rhinos, whilst Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is possibly the smallest but that is part of its charm.

Culture and tradition is a very important part of life in Swaziland, and what better way to experience it than heading to the Royal Valley at Lobamba to watch traditional dancing. There’s also markets and cultural centres to visit, where you can completely absorb yourself in the local traditions.
