Day 1 Heathrow to Nairobi: You will take an overnight flight from Heathrow to Nairobi, Kenya

Day 2 Arusha: You will take another flight to Kilimanjaro airport in Tanzania and take a private transfer (approx. 1 hour’s journey time) to the Arusha Coffee Lodge – a boutique luxury lodge, nestled in a peaceful coffee plantation for a restful night’s sleep before embarking on your safari adventure.

Day 3 & 4 Tarangire (2 nights):
Day 3: After a hearty breakfast, you will be taken to your lodge in the elephant capital of Tarangire (approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes) staying at the unique Tarangire Treetops, a spectacular luxury lodge on the edge of the Tarangire National Park, with 20 rooms all above ground blessed with fabulous views over the treetops of the marula and baobab trees. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Day 4: You will enjoy a morning and an afternoon’s game drive.

Day 5 & 6 Ngorongoro (2 nights):
Day 5: After breakfast, you will be driven to Karatu and the Ngorongoro Highlands (approx. 3 hours and 30 minutes). On arrival at your accommodation, The Manor at Ngorongoro, you will enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon doing as you wish, maybe taking a stroll in the beautiful grounds or a splash in the swimming pool. The Manor has 20 luxury suites and is located on the 1500 acre Shangri-La coffee estate.
Day 6: After breakfast, you will be taken into the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 1 hour’s drive). On the crater floor, you should spot some of Tanzania’s large animals including lions, black rhinos, hippos, zebras and wildebeest. On the crater rim you should look out for elephants and leopards. You will stay here for half a day and afterwards, if time permits, you will be taken to a local Masai village.

Day 7 & 8 Serengeti (2 nights):
Day 7: After breakfast, you will be taken to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, stopping briefly at the important pre-historic site of Olduvai Gorge and stop for a picnic lunch (journey time is approx. 5 hours). You will arrive at your accommodation, the Serengeti Migration Camp in the late afternoon, where you will stay for 2 nights in a spacious and luxurious elevated tent, with a 360 degree veranda decking area for you to take in all of the sights and sounds of the bush.
Day 8: You will enjoy an early morning and late afternoon game drive in the magnificent Serengeti National park.

Day 9 > Serengeti to Heathrow: You will enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park, followed by breakfast and then take a transfer to the airstrip (approx. 30 mins) to Arusha (approx. 1 hour) and have lunch at a local restaurant. You will then transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Nairobi where you will take your return flight back to Heathrow.
