✈️ UK – Santiago (2 nights): We’ll fly you from the UK to Santiago and transfer you to your first hotel, where you’ll spend two nights. Santiago is Cape Verde’s largest island and home to more than half the country’s population. Its capital, Praia, is a bustling African town where you can enjoy lively nightlife and immerse yourself in local culture. Old colonial buildings line the main square, and the Presidential Palace and Palace of Justice are both worth a visit.
✈️ Santiago – São Vicente (3 nights): After your stay in Santiago, we’ll transfer you back to the airport for a short flight to São Vicente. On arrival, we’ll take you to your next hotel, where you’ll spend three nights. As well as its golden beaches, São Vicente is best known for its lively capital, Mindelo. Here you’ll find bustling shops, restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife scene, with many bars offering live music into the early hours. It’s also the cultural heart of Cape Verde, with plenty of opportunities to explore the island’s art, textile and music traditions.
From Mindelo, you can also take a boat trip to the uninhabited island of Santa Luzia, or visit Santo Antão, famous for its dramatic mountain scenery and the clifftop village of Fontainhas, perched above a deep ravine.
✈️ São Vicente – Boa Vista (4 nights): Next, we’ll transfer you back to the airport for your flight to Boa Vista, where we’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel for a four-night stay. After a busy few days, Boa Vista is the perfect place to relax. This peaceful island offers some of the most breath-taking beaches in Cape Verde. If you can tear yourself away from the sand, the island is also renowned for its marine life, so a snorkelling or diving trip is well worth considering. For something a little more adrenaline-fuelled, try a quad bike adventure across the desert dunes.
✈️ Boa Vista – Sal (5 nights): After your stay in Boa Vista, we’ll transfer you back to the airport for your flight to Sal. On arrival, we’ll take you to your final hotel, where you’ll spend your last five nights. You’ll have plenty of time to explore Santa Maria, Sal’s lively capital, while still enjoying the island’s stunning beaches. We highly recommend visiting the Salt Crater and joining one of the popular horse-riding tours. From Sal, you can also take a day trip to Fogo, famous for its active volcano and the pretty capital São Filipe, with its Portuguese squares, cobbled streets and pastel-coloured houses.
✈️ Sal – UK: When your holiday comes to an end, we’ll transfer you back to the airport for your flight home.
