✈️ UK – Entebbe (1 night): On arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome before transferring to your hotel to rest and prepare for your safari adventure.
🚗 Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park (2 nights): Head for the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll take a guided walking safari to see magnificent southern white rhinos. Continue to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest reserve.
Spend the following day exploring the park, where the Nile River surges through a narrow gorge before plunging 43 metres below, which is a dramatic natural spectacle. Enjoy a morning game drive in search of elephants, lions and giraffes, followed by an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to spot hippos and crocodiles basking on the banks.
🚗 Murchison Falls – Kibale National Park (1 night): Travel south through scenic tea plantations to reach Kibale National Park. Check into your forest lodge and relax ahead of tomorrow’s primate adventure.
🚗 Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park (2 nights): Begin the day with chimp tracking in Kibale Forest before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most biodiverse reserves. The following day, enjoy a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, where lions hunt among herds of Uganda kob, followed by an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which is home to hippos, buffalo and Nile crocodiles.
🚗 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (1 night): Continue south to Bwindi, the heart of mountain gorilla territory, with a game drive en route through Ishasha, famed for its tree-climbing lions.
🚗 Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi (1 night): Rise early for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by expert rangers, track one of the park’s habituated gorilla families through the dense forest, for an unforgettable wildlife encounter. Later, drive to the tranquil shores of Lake Bunyonyi.
🚗 Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park (1 night): Journey onward to Lake Mburo National Park, a compact but wildlife-rich reserve known for its zebras, impalas and birdlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park’s acacia woodlands and open plains before relaxing at your lodge.
✈️ Lake Mburo – UK: Conclude your safari with a guided bush walk and final game drive, before returning to Entebbe for your onward flight. Alternatively, you could consider extending your stay and heading to a beach resort for a well-earned rest.
