✈️ UK – Nairobi (1 night): After a long day of travel, a short transfer takes you to your hotel where you can unwind and relax by the pool.

🚗 Nairobi – Lake Naivasha (1 night): Your first stop is the Great Rift Valley, where you’ll soak up the peaceful surroundings and take a scenic boat trip on Lake Naivasha.  Keep an eye out for zebra, impala and giraffe along the shore, while pods of hippos graze and wallow in the shallows. You’ll also visit the Elsamere Conservation Centre.

🚗 Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru (1 night): An early morning 4×4 drive takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles, where vast flocks of flamingos turn the lake pink. The park also shelters waterbuck, gazelle and the endangered white rhino.

🚗 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve (3 nights): Cross the Great Rift Valley to the Loita Hills, where the Maasai people continue their traditional way of life. At Tepesua Village, you’ll be welcomed by Maasai warriors through song and dance before heading off on thrilling 4×4 game drives across the rolling plains. Keep your camera ready for sightings of wildebeest, zebra, elephants and giraffes, and with luck, lions, leopards and cheetahs.

🚗 Masai Mara – Nairobi (1 night): Bid farewell to the Masai Mara and return to Nairobi for an overnight stay before crossing the border into Tanzania.

🚗 Nairobi – Arusha (1 night): After an early breakfast, you’ll set of on your drive to Arusha, where you’ll start your Tanzanian adventure. You’ll have time to relaxe when you arrive and as the lodge is nestled on the woodland slopes of Mount Meru, you’ll be able to enjoy the impressive views of Lake Duluti.

🚗 Arusha – Tarangire National Park (1 night): Today you will travel to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast baobab-studded landscapes and large herds of elephants. The park is also home to Cape buffalo, warthogs and a host of predators including lions, cheetahs, hyenas and the elusive African wild dog. Look up and you may spot colourful birdlife soaring above the savannah.

🚗 Tarangire – Ngorongoro (1 night): Continue to the Ngorongoro Highlands, perhaps enjoying an en-route game drive before settling into your lodge, surrounded by lush forests and dramatic mountain scenery.

🚗 Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park (2 nights): Travel across the sweeping plains of the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, skirting the rim of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. On your first 4×4 game drive, look out for wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, hyenas, hippos and even ostriches. Later, settle into your tented camp deep in the Serengeti wilderness.

🚗 Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands (2 nights): Return to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of nature’s true wonders, where riverine forests, open plains and shimmering lakes support an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a crater safari, visit a local coffee plantation and unwind by the pool as you take in the views.

✈️ Arusha – UK: After breakfast, depart for Arusha where your African adventure comes to an end, but the memories will last a lifetime.
