✈️ UK – Kuala Lumpur (2 nights): Start your getaway in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur, where sleek high-rises meet street-food markets and leafy parks. Spend a relaxed two nights adjusting to the time zone, exploring cultural districts and taking in skyline views before flying north to the islands.
✈️ Kuala Lumpur – Langkawi (5 nights): Fly to Langkawi, Malaysia’s most famous island escape. Expect rainforest-lined beaches, calm waters, and a friendly, unhurried feel. Ride the SkyCab for sweeping views, stroll sandy coves, or unwind by the pool. Langkawi is all about ease and restorative time by the sea.
🚢 Langkawi – Penang (4 nights): Travel by ferry or opt to fly to Penang, often called the food capital of Malaysia. Base yourself by Batu Ferringhi’s beach, and dip between sun-loungers, night markets and UNESCO-listed George Town. Here you can balance downtime with culture, street art trails and fantastic cuisine.
✈️ Penang – Kota Kinabalu (3–5 night Optional Extension): If adding Borneo, fly to Kota Kinabalu for a mix of adventure and ocean scenery. Think sunset beaches, coral islands, rainforest walks, and optional wildlife experiences. After your stay, fly onwards to Kota Bharu for the east coast portion of your holiday.
✈️ Penang (or Kota Kinabalu) – Redang (3 nights): Fly east to Kota Bharu and continue by road to the jetty for the ferry to Redang. Known for spectacular coral gardens and gin-clear water, Redang offers snorkelling, relaxed beach bars, and long barefoot days. This stop offers a truly idyllic island stay.
🚢 Redang – Kuala Terengganu Coast (3 nights): Sail back to the mainland and continue by private transfer to your coastal resort near Kuala Terengganu. This quieter stretch of shoreline offers fishermen’s villages, sea breezes and easy, unspoiled beach time — the perfect way to end your Malaysia beach journey.
