✈️ UK – Melbourne (3 nights): First you will fly from the UK to Melbourne, and on arrival we’ll transfer you to your hotel where you’ll stay for 3 nights. Melbourne, Australia’s cultural capital, is a city full of energy and creativity, famous for its café culture, food scene, and love of sport. Explore its laneways filled with street art and boutique shops, wander through the Royal Botanic Gardens, or take in a show at one of the many theatres. Foodies will love the city’s countless restaurants and markets, while fans of the small screen can even join a Neighbours tour and visit Ramsay Street!
🚗 Melbourne – Great Southern Touring Route (4 nights): On your last day in Melbourne, collect your rental car from the city depot and begin the next leg of your adventure along the Great Southern Touring Route, one of the most scenic drives in the world. Over 4 nights, you’ll travel through the spectacular coastal landscapes of the Great Ocean Road, stopping to admire iconic sights like the Twelve Apostles, Apollo Bay, and Lorne’s waterfalls. Continue inland to explore the majestic Grampians National Park, with its Aboriginal rock art and sweeping views, before ending in the historic gold rush town of Ballarat.
✈️ Great Southern Touring Route – Blue Mountains (2 nights): Return your car at Melbourne Airport and fly to Sydney, where you’ll pick up a new hire car for the drive to the Blue Mountains. Spend 2 nights surrounded by dramatic cliffs, deep gorges, and eucalyptus forests. You can walk scenic trails, take in panoramic views of the famous Three Sisters, or ride the Skyway, which is a thrilling cable car suspended 270 metres above the rainforest floor, offering unbeatable views through its glass bottom.
🚗 Blue Mountains – Hunter Valley (2 nights): Next, drive to the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest and most celebrated wine region. With over 150 wineries, boutique cellar doors, and world-class restaurants, this is the perfect place to unwind and indulge. Spend 2 nights here enjoying vineyard tours, gourmet dining, and perhaps even a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the rolling hills.
🚗 Hunter Valley – Sydney (3 nights): Your final drive takes you back to Sydney, where you’ll return your car and spend 3 nights exploring this world-famous harbour city. Stroll around Circular Quay, visit the Sydney Opera House, and walk across (or climb!) the Harbour Bridge for incredible views. Enjoy the sunshine on Bondi or Manly Beach, shop in The Rocks, and make the most of Sydney’s vibrant nightlife and waterfront dining.
✈️ Sydney – UK: After your stay in Sydney, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight home, bringing your unforgettable Australian adventure to an end.
