✈️ UK – Krakow (4 nights): On arrival at Krakow Airport, we’ll meet you and transfer you to your hotel, where you’ll stay for the following 4 nights. Krakow, Poland’s former capital, brims with historical treasures to discover. In the Old Town, the impressive Rynek market square is the largest medieval square in Europe and is considered the heart of the city. At its centre stands the magnificent Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), dating back to the Renaissance and still home to an active market today. Nearby, the Underground Museum offers fascinating insight into Krakow’s medieval heritage, while the Gothic Church of the Virgin Mary, dating from the 14th century, is a true architectural highlight. Bars and cafés encircle the square, perfect for al fresco dining and people-watching in warmer months. Beyond the Old Town, explore the historical Jewish Quarter, Wawel Cathedral, Wawel Royal Castle and the incredible Wieliczka Salt Mine, located on the city’s outskirts. After dark, Krakow comes alive with live music, bars and pubs that stay open well into the early hours.
🚆 Krakow – Warsaw (3 nights): On your final day in Krakow, you’ll take a train to Poland’s vibrant capital, Warsaw (approx. 3 hours), where you’ll spend the next 3 nights. Warsaw is a city of contrasts, largely destroyed during World War II, yet beautifully rebuilt into one of Europe’s great capitals. Begin your visit in the charming Old Town, where cobbled streets and baroque palaces have been lovingly restored. Key sights include the Royal Castle, the lively Market Square surrounded by 17th- and 18th-century townhouses, and the Barbican, one of the few remaining fortifications of old Warsaw. Heading south, the ‘Royal Route’ features many elegant historic buildings. For tranquillity, visit Łazienki Park with its landscaped gardens, lake, and a musical bench dedicated to Chopin. In fact, fans of the composer can follow a self-guided Chopin Trail of 14 multimedia benches, each honouring the great musician who spent the first half of his life here.
✈️ Warsaw – UK: On your final day in Warsaw, we’ll collect you from your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight home to the UK.
