✈️ UK – Aberdare National Park (1 night): A warm welcome awaits on arrival at Nairobi Airport, before you head for the forested hills of Aberdare National Park, where your magical safari begins.
🚗 Aberdare National Park – Samburu National Reserve (2 nights): After an evening watching wildlife gather by your lodge’s nearby waterhole, journey north to Samburu National Reserve. Spend your days on game drives spotting elephants, cheetahs, leopards, crocodiles, giraffes and the blue-legged Somali ostrich. Keep an eye out for the Samburu Special Five, which are species rarely seen elsewhere, that make this region so distinctive.
🚗 Samburu – Lake Nakuru (1 night): Travel via Nyahururu, Kenya’s highest town, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park by lunchtime. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of black and white rhinos, buffalo, giraffes and perhaps even leopard, before relaxing at your lakeside lodge.
🚗 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara (2 nights): Continue through the Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, where you can take a peaceful boat ride to spot hippos and colourful birdlife. Then it’s on to the world-famous Masai Mara, where dawn and dusk game drives reveal elephants, lions and cheetahs roaming the open plains. Keep your camera ready for the Big Five and the timeless savannah scenes that make the Mara unforgettable.
🚗 Masai Mara – Nairobi (1 night): After breakfast, return to Nairobi. Visit the Giraffe Centre, run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, before spending the night at a luxury hotel, the perfect place to reflect on your safari adventure.
✈️ Nairobi – Mombasa (7 nights): Fly to the coast for a well-earned rest. Unwind on the white sands of the Indian Ocean, swim in turquoise waters, or simply soak up the warmth and hospitality of your beach resort.
✈️ Mombasa – UK: On your final day, transfer to the airport for your flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of Kenya’s wildlife, scenery and sunshine.
