✈️ UK – Florence (3 nights): We’ll first fly you from the UK to Florence, where you’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for your first three nights. Situated on the banks of the River Arno, Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance and a dream for art lovers. The city is home to world-class galleries such as the Uffizi, with masterpieces by da Vinci, Botticelli and Piero della Francesca, as well as the Palatina Gallery and the Accademia, which houses Michelangelo’s masterpiece David. Much of Florence is pedestrianised, making it ideal for exploring on foot. Take in the sights of the Piazza della Signoria, the Palazzo Vecchio and the Piazza del Duomo while enjoying this beautifully preserved medieval city. Another must-see is the Basilica di San Miniato al Monte, perched high above the city, offering both incredible views and striking architecture.
🚗 Florence – Liguria (4 nights): When your stay in Florence comes to an end, we’ll take you to your next hotel on the Italian Riviera, where you’ll spend the following four nights (or consider extending to seven). This journey can be done by train or car, depending on your preference, and takes approximately two to four hours depending on your chosen resort. Liguria, also known as the Italian Riviera, is a spectacular stretch of coastline dotted with pastel-hued towns and backed by dramatic mountain scenery. Visit the glamorous resort of Portofino to explore its 16th-century fortress, browse chic boutiques, and dine on fresh seafood along the cobbled Piazzetta. Nearby Santa Margherita Ligure offers a more laid-back charm, with a beautiful promenade and relaxed seaside atmosphere. Don’t miss the five enchanting villages of the Cinque Terre, each with its own unique character – from the golden beach at Monterosso al Mare to the vibrant harbour of Vernazza. You could also enjoy a day trip to Genoa to discover its medieval old town and Italy’s largest port.
✈️ Liguria – UK: On your final day, we’ll transfer you to Genoa Airport for your flight back to the UK.
