✈️ UK – Bangkok (3 nights): Fly from your chosen UK airport to Bangkok, where you’ll spend three nights discovering Thailand’s vibrant capital. Explore magnificent temples and palaces, wander colourful markets, cruise along the Chao Phraya River and sample the city’s famous street food, rooftop restaurants and lively nightlife.
✈️ Bangkok – Chiang Mai (3 nights): Fly north to Chiang Mai for three nights in Thailand’s cultural heart. Explore the temples and markets of the old city, experience an ethical elephant sanctuary or venture into the surrounding countryside. Chiang Mai combines traditional Lanna culture with a relaxed atmosphere and is the perfect starting point for exploring northern Thailand.
🚗 Chiang Mai – Doi Inthanon – Mae Hong Son (2 nights): Leave Chiang Mai and travel into the mountains, stopping at Doi Inthanon National Park along the way. Explore the summit of Thailand’s highest mountain and follow a nature trail through the highland evergreen forest before visiting the memorial to Lanna King Inthawichayanon. Enjoy lunch at a local Royal Project restaurant, visit the Royal Project itself and stop at impressive Wachirathan Waterfall before continuing through the mountains to Mae Hong Son.
Surrounded by forested mountains, Mae Hong Son feels a world away from Thailand’s busier destinations. Spend two nights discovering its Shan influenced temples, peaceful lake, local culture and spectacular surrounding scenery.
🚗 Mae Hong Son – Pai (2 nights): Continue through the mountains to Pai for two nights. This small laid back town is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with hot springs, waterfalls, rice fields and viewpoints to explore. Visit Pai Canyon, wander the evening market or simply enjoy the town’s relaxed atmosphere before the final part of your journey.
✈️ Pai – Beach (5 nights): Transfer back towards Chiang Mai and fly on to your chosen beach destination for five nights of relaxation. Choose from Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui or one of Thailand’s other beach areas, and we’ll arrange the journey and resort to suit how you want to finish your holiday. Direct flights currently operate from Chiang Mai to Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui, with other destinations available via connecting services.
✈️ Beach – UK: After five nights relaxing by the sea, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Optional Chiang Rai Extension: For an even more complete northern Thailand experience, add 2 nights in Chiang Rai between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Discover the city’s distinctive temples, including the famous White Temple, and explore another side of northern Thailand before continuing to Chiang Mai.
