Travel Consultant
From interrailing Europe to living and teaching in Vietnam, Emily’s passion for multi-centre travel is shaped by first-hand experience.

I’m new to the travel industry, as I was a secondary teacher for ten years. However, being a teacher enabled me to travel extensively. In my holidays, I always liked to plan multi-centre holidays, including, interrailing around Europe, road tripping around Canada and backpacking through Southeast Asia and Australia. I was also given the opportunity to teach in Vietnam for 6 months, which enabled me to really get to know the best places to go.

When I finally decided to leave teaching in 2024, Eshores felt like the perfect place for me and I’ve never enjoyed a job so much.

Here’s a few questions we asked Emily…

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

Mostly spending time with family and friends. I love performing musical theatre and I run a theatre school for children one evening a week. I like to keep active, so I enjoy going to the gym and hiking in the Peak or Lake District at weekends with my husband and our dog Gracie.

Beach holiday or city break?

Definitely city break!

Which is best, spend a month exploring one country or squeeze 3 countries into 2 weeks?

1 month in one country, as there are so many wonderful places to see in each country. You can really enjoy and experience the culture properly then.
