✈️ UK – Florence (4 nights): We’ll first fly you from the UK to Florence, where you’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for the first four nights of your trip.
Situated on the banks of the River Arno, Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance and an absolute dream for art lovers. The city is home to world-class galleries such as the Uffizi, featuring masterpieces by da Vinci, Botticelli and Piero della Francesca, as well as the Palatina Gallery and the Accademia, home to Michelangelo’s David. Much of the city is pedestrianised, making it ideal for exploring on foot. Wander through the Piazza della Signoria, admire the Palazzo Vecchio and gaze up at the magnificent Duomo. For panoramic views and a peaceful escape, head up to the Basilica di San Miniato al Monte, one of the most beautiful churches in Tuscany.
🚆 Florence – Bologna (3 nights): After checking out of your hotel in Florence, take the short train journey to Bologna, where you’ll spend the next three nights.
Vibrant, authentic and endlessly charming, Bologna is often hailed as Italy’s gastronomic capital. The city’s famous porticoed streets stretch for miles, lined with boutique shops, cafés and gelaterias. Admire the medieval towers and Renaissance buildings, visit the grand Piazza Maggiore, and discover the local markets where fresh produce and handmade pasta fill the stalls. Food is at the heart of Bologna’s culture, from traditional trattorias serving tagliatelle al ragù to Michelin-starred dining – so come hungry and savour every bite.
✈️ Bologna – UK: On your final day, we’ll transfer you to Bologna Airport for your flight back to the UK.
