✈️ UK – Hanoi (2 nights): Your journey will begin with a flight to Vietnam’s capital city, Hanoi. On arrival at Hanoi airport, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You will then spend two nights in Hanoi, where you can discover its elegance and charm, reflected in its French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and the bustling Old Quarter.

🚆 Hanoi – Sapa (3 nights): The next part of your trip is a journey by train to the charming town of Sapa, set amidst the country’s highest and most spectacular mountains and paddy fields. On your last day in Hanoi, you will be taken to Hanoi train station, where you’ll board the overnight train in a private cabin to Lao Cai. On arrival, you’ll be met and driven through the mountains to the pretty town of Sapa. After breakfast, enjoy a scenic walk through the Muong Hoa Valley, home to the region’s largest terraced rice fields, before continuing to the small villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van to experience the unique culture of the local hill tribes. Return to Sapa for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring at your leisure.

You’ll stay one night in a local hotel before being driven to the village of Giang Ta Chai, best known for its colourful Red Dzao people, whose women shave their heads and eyebrows and wear bright red turbans. After lunch in Sapa, you can enjoy the markets or explore the town before returning to Lao Cai station in the evening for your overnight train back to Hanoi (a private car transfer is also available).

🚗 Hanoi– Halong Bay (1 night): On arrival back in Hanoi, you will be met and driven to the stunningly beautiful Halong Bay, a collection of nearly 2,000 limestone islands in north-eastern Vietnam and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will board your traditional Junk Boat for an overnight cruise through the bay, taking in the breathtaking scenery and stopping to swim in the tranquil emerald waters along the way.

✈️ Halong Bay – Beach (6 nights): On arrival back on dry land, you’ll be driven back to Hanoi to catch your onward flight to one of Vietnam’s best beach resorts, where you’ll spend six nights to complete your holiday.

If you’d like to visit Hoi An on the south-central coast, we’ll fly you to Danang, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Once a busy port on the Silk Route, Hoi An is now a charming town with a lovely blend of culture, history and fabulous beaches. From its colonial buildings to its golden sands, it’s the perfect place to unwind.

Alternatively, we can fly you slightly further south to Nha Trang, Vietnam’s premier beach resort, with stunning beaches, a lively nightlife and a wide choice of restaurants and luxury hotels. For a more peaceful experience, you might prefer Mui Ne or nearby Phan Thiet, both known for their long stretches of beach, relaxed atmosphere and excellent seafood.

For those seeking a true tropical island escape, we can arrange for you to fly further south to Phu Quoc. This idyllic island, 50km off the coast, is largely a National Park and Marine Reserve, with white sands, turquoise waters and superb snorkelling and diving.

✈️ Beach – UK: On your final day in Vietnam, we will collect you from your hotel and take you to the airport for your flight home to the UK.
