Location: The Royal Savoy in Funchal is a luxury resort set close to the sister resort Classic Savoy on the island of Madeira. It is 19km from the airport and within walking distance to a wide range of markets, shops and the harbour.
Description: The Royal Savoy is a five star resort with an excellent restaurant, pool bar and Piano bar to entertain you. The award winning hotel has beautiful sea views and has excellent facilities to ensure you enjoy your stay. The two seawater pools are heated outside and they also have an indoor heated pool to relax in. The fitness facilities here are well equipped with a Jacuzzi and Turkish bath for the ultimate relaxation. This hotel is more equipped for adults as the sister hotel Classic Savoy caters for families very well. However you can use the facilities at either hotel wherever you stay.
The Royal Savoy has the Capula restaurant, Fleur de Lys grill room for fine dining. Choose from the A la Carte menu and dine amongst live entertainment nightly. The Fleur de Lys is a Jacket and Tie restaurant open from Wednesday to Sundays. The Piano bar and Library Garden are more relaxed dining experiences.
