4 Nights – Barcelona
3 Nights – Madrid
3 Nights – Seville

✈️ UK to Barcelona (4 Nights): Start your city exploration in the vibrant city of Barcelona, a city full of life, incredible architecture, great food, and amazing wine. Try the local tapas including classics such as patatas bravas, tortilla and pan con tomate (bread rubbed with tomato and drizzled in oil and salt).  Don’t miss popping into La Boqueria market to taste some delicious local treats and sip on a glass of Cava, the famous sparkling wine from Catalonia. After checking out Gaudí’s incredible buildings, including the iconic Sagrada Família, Park Güell with its colourful mosaics, and the unique Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, head to the beach at Barceloneta for a seafood feast by the sea.  Wander through the historic Gothic Quarter, where you’ll find medieval streets and Roman walls and take a stroll along La Rambla, the busy street lined with shops, restaurants, and street performers.  For football fans, a visit to Camp Nou, home of FC Barcelona, is a must.

🚆  Barcelona to Madrid (3 Nights):  For leg two of your trip, you’ll take the high-speed rail to Madrid, the heart of Spain, known for its royal palaces, world-class museums, vibrant nightlife and great food and wine. Start with a visit to the Royal Palace, with its lavish interiors and impressive gardens. Nearby, the Plaza Mayor offers a lively square filled with cafes and shops. The main areas of La Latina, Huertas, Malasaña, and Chamberí are packed with tapas bars of every kind, with everything from down-to-earth to trendy spots. Make sure you try some of Madrid’s iconic dishes, including bocadillo de calamares and slices of jamón ibérico de bellota. For a surprising twist in a city famed for its meat-heavy cuisine, book a table at Madrid’s Michelin-starred vegetarian restaurant El Invernadero, which offers an imaginative tasting menu pushing the boundaries of plant-based cooking.

Wander over to the city’s central square, Puerta del Sol, famous for its clock that rings in the New Year and head to the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofía Museum to see masterpieces by Picasso, Goya, and Dalí.  At night, Madrid truly comes alive, especially in Malasaña and Chueca, where you can dance until dawn – just like the locals. These lively areas are dotted with intimate wine bars and creative tapas joints where homemade vermouth is poured from the barrel and served with a sliver of orange.

🚆  Madrid to Seville (3 Nights):  The last city you’ll explore is Seville, where you’ll arrive once more via the high-speed train.   Some of the favourites here include fresh gazpacho, jamón de Jabugo, and all kinds of tapas.  Explore intimate wine bars offering velvety sherries from nearby Jerez such as Fino, Manzanilla, and Oloroso.  When it comes to sights, the crown jewel of the city is the Seville Cathedral, the world’s largest Gothic cathedral.  Here, ascend the 35 ramps of The Giralda Tower for some of the most spectacular views of the city. Also, explore the magnificent Alcazar Palace, a masterpiece of Mudejar architecture, with its stunning gardens and wander through the picturesque Barrio Santa Cruz, with its narrow streets, charming squares, and vibrant atmosphere. And as night falls, immerse yourself in a flamenco performance in Barrio Santa Cruz accompanied by a glass of local Montilla-Moriles wine and traditional tapas.

✈️ Seville to UK:  Fly home to your chosen UK airport, with memories of some of Spain’s most beautiful and culturally rich cities.
