Arguably one of the most characterful and sumptuous hotels in Havana, its history is well documented – from the local celebrities and well-heeled guests who frequented it throughout the 1930s, to the fact that it once only occupied the third floor of its building. To describe the style and architecture of the Hotel Saratoga is difficult. Some have called it neo-classical, but certainly its blend of wood, marble and iron make it a stylish and imposing short-term residence. Sit back, close your eyes and imagine the celebrities and socialites who have stayed in your room at the Hotel Saratoga. Look around and immerse yourself in its still-remaining old world charm and elegance. Enjoy a well-cooked meal on the roof terrace overlooking the city and soak up all that Havana has to offer. A superb hotel.
