Description
Location: The luxurious Dusit Laguna resort is located on the soft white sands of Bang Tao Bay, nestled between two inland lagoons, the idyllic setting is perfect for a truly relaxing or romantic holiday. The Laguna complex consists of various high quality hotels situated on the powder white beach, lapped by clear waters with a few beach restaurants serving fresh fish and cocktails. Further restaurants can be found along the road leading in to Laguna or you can take a taxi in to the lively Patong which is about 20 minutes away.
Facilities: For guests who want to relax can bathe by the large swimming pool or on the beach whilst taking in the beautiful scenery that surrounds this hotel If you fancy pampering yourself you can enjoy a range of treatments at the Angsana Spa. For the more active guests there is various watersports, including windsurfing, sailing and snorkelling, scuba diving can also be arranged, there is also a pitch and put and 2 floodlit tennis courts. Children can also be entertained by the busy bees club.
Restaurants & Bars: There is a choice of 5 restaurants serving top class food, so good that the Ruen Thai restaurant is said to be among the best in Phuket.
Accommodation: All 266 rooms are spacious and well furnished with air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, bath, shower and balcony. Deluxe sea view rooms have the same facilities but facing the sea and the ocean front deluxe rooms are closer to the beach with a separate living area and stereo.

My wife and I are independant travellers who did not want to be part of a larger tour group although we needed some help with the itinerary - flights, hotels, transfers etc. This is where eShores came in to the picture. I found the entire booking process to be a very positive experience primarily because we were assigned a dediacted travel advisor who remained with us as the sole point of contact throughout the entire process. Kelly was friendly, knowledgeable and responded back to any query promptly. We discussed some initial ideas over the phone and then she e-mailed me various options and we finally selected a trip to Cambodia and South Vietnam. Overall a brilliant service from Kelly and the eShores team (ps We are yet to take the trip but will report back on how the itinerary works out in practical terms when we head out in 2026)
