Description
Location: Boasting a fantastic position on the lagoon overlooking the white sands of Bang Tao Bay. Surrounded by saltwater lagoons, manicured gardens and linked by bridges, the resort feels as though it is an island of its own. Part of the Laguna group gives guests access to the facilities and restaurants at the other five luxury hotels and the 18-hole golf course.
Facilities: . By day you can be as relaxed or energetic as you would like to be, the swim up pool bar is a popular place to sit, but if you like to do more than just sunbathe you have choice of water-sports from swimming in the large pool to diving, snorkelling, windsurfing and sailing, tennis courts are also available. Indoors you will find the fitness centre, games room and children’s club (4-12 years).
Restaurants & Bars: Dining could not be better, indoors or al fresco. With a choice of 10 restaurants, cafes and bars, offering tasteful delights from Thai, Italian, and other Asian specialities. The Chao Lay Restaurant specialises in seafood and Southern Thai cuisine. Diners can enjoy the views of the lagoon, while traditional ‘live’ Thai music is provided in the background. The Puccini Italian restaurant serves the best Italian dishes complemented by a selection of fine wines. For lighter snacks and nightly entertainment, the Loy Krathong Lounge is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the views. For a more romantic setting, the hotel also offers Terrace dining.
Accommodation: The resort offers a range of accommodation, 298 spacious rooms sleeping up to 2adults and 2 children or 4 adults, with garden, lagoon, pool or ocean views. All have the added luxuries of robes, slippers and bathroom amenities. The Grande Villas are set in an exquisitely landscaped garden with a waterfall and Jacuzzi and each villa boasts their own private swimming pool. Guests in the villas also receive complementary tea, fresh juice and pre dinner cocktails.

My wife and I are independant travellers who did not want to be part of a larger tour group although we needed some help with the itinerary - flights, hotels, transfers etc. This is where eShores came in to the picture. I found the entire booking process to be a very positive experience primarily because we were assigned a dediacted travel advisor who remained with us as the sole point of contact throughout the entire process. Kelly was friendly, knowledgeable and responded back to any query promptly. We discussed some initial ideas over the phone and then she e-mailed me various options and we finally selected a trip to Cambodia and South Vietnam. Overall a brilliant service from Kelly and the eShores team (ps We are yet to take the trip but will report back on how the itinerary works out in practical terms when we head out in 2026)
