Tunisia

Tunisia is located in North Africa, on the Mediterranean coast. Its name originates from the capital “Tunis” which is described by locals as “friendly and sociable”. Tunisia is home to two World Heritage sites; the ancient Roman city of Carthage famed for baths, ports and its impressive amphitheatre and there’s the magnificent Bardo Museum. Tunisia also boasts endless beaches, an array of Turkish baths and other historical ruins. When it comes to cuisine Tunisia is well known for a number of local dishes that blend Arabic, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fare, all with a “French influence”… What more could you want.
