Description

Location: Situated on a white sandy beach, to the south west of Pemba Island (a half hour flight from Zanzibar International Airport). Fundu Lagoon is unique in that it is only accessible by boat.

Facilities: Surrounded on three sides by forest, Fundu Lagoons famous infinity pool is set literally in an oasis of calm and tranquillity, next to the spa, which offers massage and beauty treatments specifically designed to relax the body and sooth the spirit. The fully equipped dive centre has an entire fleet of boats and offers activities including fishing, canoeing and snorkelling. Guests can even hire its thirty foot catamaran for their own private use.

Restaurants & Bars: The resorts restaurant presents a fusion of Arabic, Indian and Swahili cuisine, made with seafood straight from the ocean to your plate, sumptuous local meat and tasty, often unusual, fruit and vegetables. Its bar offers cool refreshments all day long.

Accommodation: There are 18 thatched, tented rooms and suites, joined by wooden walkways and all with stunning ocean views. Suites have their own private plunge pools and sunbathing areas.
